    Uterine Lining Question

    Hello ~

I was wondering about thining of the uterine lining. I was on the LE diet for three months and then started clomid. On my first cycle I was on 50mg and then was moved up to 100 mg for my second and I just started my third cycle. I have noticed that I am having very very light periods (one day of bleeding and a couple of days spotting) since I have started on clomid and even more so on 100 mg. I am also noticing that I have no cervical mucus.

I have had my progesterone checked and on the last cycle it was 18.60 on day 21. I went to see my OB on Friday in hopes he would check my lining and he told me that because my progesterone is high that I do not need to have my lining checked. Is this correct? I am sorry if I sound like I do not trust my ob!! I would love to go to a RE but we just can't afford it and I just want to make sure that I am doing EVERYTHING I can to conceive at this point.

I conceived my first three children very easily.

THANK YOU so much for any help!!

    Hi Happyheart

Clomid can affect the lining (thinning). I monitor my patients lining during a cycle and usually find I need to add Estradiol for their lining and Prometrium.

The other thing that is excellent when on Clomid due its drying up impact on your cm is using Pre-seed.

Ask your OB to check your lining!!!!!

    Big Hugs Dr H xx
