April 30th, 2017, 01:58 AM #12Thanks ladies. Both DH and I have big heads but as you say, we're all different. DS2 and 3 are both small for their age while DS1 is tall like his parents. What will be will be. As the shock of having a questionable scan fades I feel more optimistic, more like my normal self. Thank you as always for this fab safe supportive place. I'll be back on here on the 9th x

May 9th, 2017, 08:59 AM #14Having adjusted the dates and re-measured the head, we're now at the 20th centile and the consultant said it's a girl! I asked if she was sure, i.e. could I tell the boys for definite, and she said they can never be 100% sure but yes she thinks so. Getting exciting now!!! 2009 2009 2011 2011 2013 (failed sway) 2013 (failed sway)

Huge congrats that's brilliant news - so delighted for you and to have you little girl at last! I'm sure it's nothing at all to worry about, and 20th percentile is fine, just small baby, but if you are still concerned I'd go the Faetal Medical Centre in Harley Street and have a private scan done by Prof Nicolides - he really is the best in the UK and one of the best in the world and that way you can have total piece of mind and really enjoy your pregnancy. xx

After being told at 18 weeks, the prayed and swayed for "lady"bug is in my belly. Our Christmas gift comes with some health challenges, but I know that we are strong family and will celebrate her! at 18 weeks, the prayed and swayed for "lady"bug is in my belly.
