Thanks for sharing NewPreggie! Definitely nice to hear! Would love to hear from ones that it didn't work too so I don't let my hopes get too high [emoji12]

Congrats NewPreggie – you must be elated! I can’t even imagine the joy after a sway to get the outcome you wanted – a healthy baby boy
In fact, I am gearing myself towards just having a third girl when we do fall pregnant, to avoid “disappointment” in not having a son (because, especially when I see my girls, how could I ever be disappointed in having them?!) – so can’t even imagine the realisation of actually be having a son ^^
Your sway was pretty good so it gives me hope and encourages me to continue my sway...though like you Kat, I am cautious and would like to keep my head level and not get too excited, as no method is a guarantee…
Speaking of sway – I think I have a thrush infection and had to get a pessary and cream (used last night and no difference so far) – I am on CD8 so not testing for O yet, but would like to be back in the game asap as can’t dtd (too uncomfortable for me anyways) atm – any suggestions/remedies that may be blue friendly too?Lucky Mummy to 4 sweet divas (2013) (2015) (2018) (2021) and 1 sweet boy (2024) that completed our family

I am exactly like you, gearing myself up towards a third princess! Having another baby will be amazing no matter what and having a boy would just be delightful.
Oh gosh! So sorry to hear of the thrush! I've only got a yeast infection when I was pregnant and I used the monistat 7 day and it cleared it up! Hope you are feeling better soon!

LMSM - I have no advice to clear it up but were you planing to start trying this month? Maybe you can get it cleared up in time.
MsMarie - When are you planning to start?
I'm on CD3 and hoping to try this month if my hubby is on board [emoji846] That'd be as early as next Wed that I'd be fertile. I'm really hoping to just use opks as I really don't want to start temping. I guess after a couple months I'll add that if needed though.
If I do conceive I would have only been swaying food wise for 4 weeks though. Started doing weights after my 2nd daughter was born.
Anyone else gearing up this month?

Kat1234: i am trying this month as well. I am using the opk as well...it is very close to my O day so i test 2-3 times a day to make sure that i dont miss the surge. I think i might have stressed out about this so O is delayed. So furstrating. Hopefully positive opk today!

Thanks MsMarie
We’ll have to hope we all get our boys hereagree healthy is just the absolute most important: I’ve seen the toll of illness or disability, and for me it’s certainly not having a son at “all costs” – so helps puts things into perspective: I am blessed with two healthy girls, and that in itself is sooo very lucky – after not being sure we’d have any children, full stop. I have friends that are still struggling with infertility or have given up altogether – which I find so humbling ..so yes, a boy would be the icing on the cake for sure but I grow wiser with time haha and I don’t think, regardless of the sway that I could be “disappointed” if it didn’t work that way. I probably would still yearn for a son, but that would not make me any less happy to be having a lovely girl (my eldest says she wants two sisters and two brothers – unless #4 becomes a #4 & 5 that’s not happening – hubby is ok for 3, 4 might be pusging it – 5, no way lol).
Re thrush - this is the 1st time I have had this, and timing sucks tooit’s a tad better but not back to normal – so FX it clears very quickly or I’ll go to the dr’s tomorrow or the day after…

Yep – the plan was to try – but if it doesn’t clear might just skip this month to be on the safe side – sooooo annoying! I am so ready so blah lol
Yay for you - hopefully DH won't back out of it!
4 weeks of swaying is ok – I think the optimal time is actually 6 weeks, for blue swaying the best results are seen for a short sway period – not an extended one I believe? So you should be goodplus you have been changing your condition since DD2 with the weights, so I think you are doing well ^^
