    Melliflous May (part 2)

Pbn3- Hmmm. The problem with most blue swayers and attempts seem to stem from their DH's not being able to get the 3 attempts in at positive opk. Given that, I don't think it's feasible to have those same couples do EOD from CD8-CD18. Sure that may only be 5 attempts, but they are most likely to have a DH fizzle out well before ovulation occurs. What I think would be the best of both worlds is to start EOD at an almost positive opk and continue as long as the DH can. This will most likely cover them with at least 2 viable attempts around O time by the time their DH fizzles out. We boy making mamas have to remember that blue swayers' DH's can't handle frequent sex and get performance anxiety when they reach "go" time. It's different for them because us pink swayers can always fudge it when our go time is for our DH's but blue swayers don't have that luxury. This is all contingent though on blue swayers using some sort of IC for opks. The CB advanced don't seem to reliably capture an almost positive for my liking.

    Sorry for the long post!!

Thanks xxforhubby! (Nope can't sleep lol) I just figured that given there is 48 hours between bd's it enables dh to 'rest up' rather than try to perform 3 times in 36 hours.... so would you say eod is as good as or a close second to 3 attempts at pos opk? Just in case eod for 4-5 bd's is very possible for someone?

I would say it depends on the age of the DH. I don't know if it would necessarily be better than 3 attempts at positive opk but it does seem like a viable option for those that just simply haven't been able to do it, otherwise. I still think it would be best to start at an almost positive opk though- how many times have we seen blue and pink swayers ovulation day get wonky? By starting at an almost positive opk, there is a greater chance for them to get at least 2 viable attempts in.

Blue swayers this is a link to a thread I created asking about 3 attempts v eod and reading it again now it makes perfect sense what Atomic is saying. For some reason I have it in my head that eod is more achievable than 3 attempts but that is only my opinion and what I believe me and dh could do (3 attempts at pos opk would not be an option,we are fossils 😂&#128514 As xxforhubby has pointed out and Atomic in this thread its actually a minority of blue swayers that can achieve eod. So my apologies for seeming to 'push' eod, it really is an individual decision on what works best for you but on a general scale it appears that 3 attempts at pos opk is most successful in achieving. Hope I haven't caused too much confusion xxoo
    The bd question again....

And to add, as a mom of boys, I can tell you boy swayers that dtd often makes boys. So go get it done as soon as your OPK is borderline positive and don't stop until it's negative again! Mostly, have fun!

I couldn't agree more with this! I mean, my DH could easily do both options, haha! Most blue swayers don't have this luxury. I do think 3 attempts at positive opk is the most feasible for blue swayers. Let's face it- one of those attempts most likely will not happen, and they will be left with 2. This is much better than 1. A minority could manage EOD, but I think most would find it daunting.

So I tested at 11am with opk and it was negative, just a barely there line. Just done another now and it is quite dark. Do you think I might miss my surge in the night?! Should I bd now? Eek don't know what to do.
