Lola - it may be the same test and I may have totally unrealistic expectations! I had my two boys when they were still doing amnios for women over 35. So when I had my IUD taken out last July, I asked about the amnio since I'm older now. My doctor told me that they rarely do that anymore unless they have any reason to believe there could be a problem and told me instead I'll get a blood test between 8-10 weeks that determines all that now, including gender. Sounds the same though. So I should probably prepare myself for a couple extra weeks!

One last post from me until I find out results. My hcg needs to be 360 or higher in order to have doubled. I'm an absolute mess atm, madly doing housework to keep busy but it's not helping distract me at all 😣 I haven't been able to eat anything, my stomach is in knots and my hands are shaking. Gosh I hope they have the results when I ring in an hour....sorry for harping on about it, you'd think I'd be used to being in this position by now but I'm not. It's just as bad as every other time. Had to show you gals [emoji7][emoji12] my addiction lives!! Dh is getting a bit perturbed I think lol so I may need to tone it down. The more I buy the more I'm going to be devastated (though I hate to say that because I'll love a boy just as much). I truely need to quit but she will need little booties being born in January [emoji4]
