Melliflous May (part 2)
I would think with your naturally girl body and your diet and dh stress and clomid all playing together it still wouldn't hurt to have a second attempt. But who am I to talk I had wayyy to many attempts and will probably end up with a boy! Not that I wouldn't be just as happy

I m not the one to advise since I hardly know things but I think u may be safe since opks aren't positive yet and by the time they do, u will have fresh sperm waiting if u BD tonight and eod thereafter. I would still wait for
Pbn and others to give their opinion.
Thanks for saying that u understand. You know we have been bding eod with protection and last night I thought what am I doing but I m a control freak and if dh bails on me for even one night, I will lose it. I doubt his commitment. [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51]I therefore like to count on the attempts after pos opk because atleast that helps me feel better. [emoji12][emoji12]

Max- doctor's typically say to BD on CD10 and that's total crap! To make sure you don't miss O, you are going to need to BD E4D or BD E3D. I would also use opks but know that they will give you a false positive if you test too early. You can start on using opks on CD10 but don't be surprised if it's pretty dark. You should get one later when it's truly O time. I recommend using ICs or the pink CBDs. Do not use the purple advanced CBDs. You must BD E4D at minimum to not miss O. I cannot stress this enough! Clomid will make your CM non existent. You may need to use a tiny bit of lube to make BDing comfortable. Don't be surprised if you O when you normally would or a little later. Taking Clomid on CD5-9 doesn't typically bring O forward much, if at all. My RE had me take it CD3-7 and it didn't make my O earlier. Only when I took it CD2-6 did it move my O date forward. Everyone is different though. Atomic, myself, and plenty of other ladies that have taken Clomid can help you! Don't hesitate to start a new thread, if/when you have questions!
Oh, it will make you very thirsty, can make you moody, and have hot flashes, this is all normal!!

Max: yayy for getting your hands on some clomid. I dont have much knowledge on this so will wait for others to chime in.
Sky, Kat: i would lose it if dh bails on eod plan. Luckily, he is cooperating well now. But who knows when that would change. 3 attempts at O will work out great. am bd is kinda hard to squeeze in as well (at least for me). Are you guys doing anything to raise ph or you dont worry about ph? My ph seems to be neutral or on lower side

I'll be back from the beach Monday, so it'll be a quick trip. I'll bring my OPK supplies along for sure! I'm hoping to get an attempt in on Fri & O on Sat or Sun. I'd rather go back home Sunday night & get an attempt in in lol, but we'll see...

Melliflous May (part 2)
Sky/Shinay - The only reason I didn't get too upset is bc I feel like I'm 2-4 days from Oing. He better not pull this again though. Y'all should be close to O soon! Yay- I'm jealous [emoji12] I'm not checking ph, Shinay. Sky - keep us posted on attempts, routing for ya!!

Thank you so much xx!!! So why would I get a positive on opk early? I'm planning on e3d for sure (only e4d if DH travels week of O). I'll definitely start a new thread... Now I need to really think through if I'm going to tell DH or not. Leaning towards yes b/c I hate secrets and I know I'll end up with twins if I don't tell him (which as cute as that sounds, would SO not be good for us, and I'm not sure my body could support a twin pregnancy for real!)...

Melliflous May (part 2)
The reason for a false positive opk early, is Clomid increases FSH and LH hormones causing a positive opk to occur. The guidelines for using opks are to start testing 5-7 days after you take your last Clomid pill. That doesn't mean you will get a positive opk then, that is when you can start testing. I always got my positive opk 5 days after taking my last Clomid dose. You want to keep BDing until then and even a few days after your positive opk in case you didn't respond to the Clomid. It can take a cycle or two for you to respond to it. It took me one cycle but everyone is different.

That makes total sense! Okay so if I end on CD9, start opk testing on CD14? And when do I start the e3d/e4d BDs, after AF or after ending clomid? Sorry for all the questions!!
