    White rice. Am I hurting my sway?

    I suffer from Celiac Disease. So I am pretty much always eating rice. Mostly white. My pastas are rice and corn blend so and and so forth. I have notice a lot of girl swayers eating white rice. Am I hurting my sway by consuming it. Should I try and find some brown rice pastas instead? Or does this not really matter at all? I have to say I LOVE white rice and will probably cry for a week straight if I need to stop eating it. But if I have to I will.

    I'm creeping out of the ttc girl section. Atomic will mostly have a better say. However, I did see white rice help sway girl. I don't know about specifically brown/wheat products, but being 75% Italian I eat LOADS and LOADS of pastas and resulted 4 boys. And I am CRYING that I have to stay away from heavy Italian foods. Just my based on my own results.

    No. You can have white rice as long as you have it WITH protein. So you could have a stir fry with meat or tofu and white rice. That is perfectly fine. Or white rice with chicken and gravy, or white rice with beans and salsa and cheese. All great for a boy.

    There are no magic foods that make you have a boy or a girl. That is a myth. It is the overall content of your diet that matters and not any one particular food. Protein + carbs = boys. Carbs alone = girls. Pink swayers do eat white rice but it's not because it's a magic pink food, it's because it's a lower protein source of carbs.

    I know this is an old thread but hoping to get a response . I'm swaying girl (6 weeks in ) my lunches have been mainly a while wheat wrap (140 cal 8 gem of protein 3.5 grams of fat ) with 1/2 cup of white rice ( 310 cal , 1/2 cup of garbanzo beans 8 gem protein ) I usually have some
    Strawberries and a sweet rice crisp bar for dessert right after ... is this too much protein to mix with my white rice . I am staying around 1200-1500 Cals a day with about 40 grams of proteins sometimes more . Taking physillium husk and cinnimon with my meals .

    Blue swayers HAVE to mix protein and carbs. But they are eating totally different in about a million other ways too. You can have protein and carbs for pink, that is perfectly fine to do and in fact you will ahve to do that to enable yourself to be able to squeeze in all the food you need in 1500 cals.

    how much do you weigh? VERY few people shoudl be that low in calories!

    Cinnamon is NOT for everyone and I really hope you answer back in this thread because a thin person should not and in fact MUST not be eating tons of cinnamon plus eating so few calories.

    Thank you for the quick reply . I am at 93 pounds . ( gained 1 pound since last
    Week ). I know we are not suppose to gain on girl sway but I was sick just before I started my sway and dropped to 92 . it has fluctuated from 92-93 during my sway . before my sway my normal weight for the last 6 + months has been 94/95 pounds while eating TONS of food ( high fats , sugars and protein ) all day long . Please don't be too alarmed , I am a very small Boned person ,I recently had a full physical for health insurance and my doctor is always happy with my health .even though I had an illness the other month he commented how confident he was in my recovery because I am so healthy . My BMI is still 18.5 which is normal for me . I think it only went up to 20 while I was pregnant with my son . Should I stop the cinnimon ? I have taken it before in my lifetime as I eat lots of sugar and have always felt fine . I had no idea it could be dangerous if I was small . We are
    Planning for an attempt this month in about a week however if nothing sticks next month will be our last attempt and I will drop the sway until next year .

    Also can I safely up my calories if this is too low with out hurting my sway ? the only reason I am eating in the 12-1500 cal range is because it said not to snack and not to stuff yourself with too large of meals . with the meals I eat ( usually rice and veggies with some olive oil at dinner or pasta with veggies in olive oil and Parmesan , or a portable lo mushroom burger and yam fries ) my lunches in the above post is usually quite consistant just rice , beans , cilantro in a whole wheat wrap with hot sauce or I will have a masala wrap ( usually 2 times a week ) the wrap is higher in fat and protein so I try to keep my dinner lighter
    In fat if I eat those . Along with both lunch and dinner I eat strawberries and the rice crisp treat and even sometimes licorice as I have always had a crazy sweet tooth . I have one large
    Can of coconut water every day . For a night time snack I usually eat rice puff cereal with rice milk strawberries and some red licorice . I tried to cut out my sugar but I was having a
    Really hard time and feeling grumpy by night so I decided to eat it again along with the cinnimon . I am feeling full for about 3 hours sometimes just under . In my regular diet before sway I was usually just eating meat and veggies . Snacking on chocolate , fruit , cookies , avacodo and veggie/fruit shakes throughout the day . I never ate high carbs as I use to be gluten free and never ate rice before so this feels like a big change and really makes me Feel full after a meal . Please let me know if you think I should add or cut out anything .

    Those kind of minor fluctuations are meaningless..

    YES stop the cinnamon!! I literally use that for only like 3% of people and people have nearly passed out from low blood sugar from taking it when they did not need it.

    You do not need to cut out sugar at your weight.

    Yes, I'd like you to eat more like 1500 cals. I think you're cranky because your blood sugar is crashing so bad (and the cinnamon may be making that worse)

    Please don't worry about eating too large of meals or snacking all day. If you're doing the basic principles of LE Diet you are already DOING that. Some people don't really do much in the way of dieting and for them, even just eating smaller meals may really help. But no one doing the basic form of LE Diet, which you already are, will not be snacking all day or eating huge meals that take forever to digest.
