I really dont know.
I can tell you that I have heavy-ish periods.
I was severely anemic and had to have iron infusions this past October.
Upon trying to diagnose the reason for my Iron Deficiancy anemia, my OB performed a uterine biopsy (OUCH) and an ultrasound.
The biopsy came back clear, the ultrasound did show a cyst but I was told thats very common with ovulation? (I was in my supposed fertile window when I had my ultrasound)
Nothing was said to me about PCOS but its in my nature to overanalyze. lol
My cycles are around 34 days long.
It is CD21 and I have not had a pos OPK yet. Started testing daily on CD14. I have very little CM- And a pathetic sex drive.
Thanks guys xoxoxo

Women with PCOS have polycystic ovaries (although not always) which is lots of little cysts on the ovaries where egg follicles have started to develop but were not released so it forms a cyst. Your cysts sound different and if they didn't mention pcos then I would try not to worry about it

PCOS is characterized by cysts on ovaries but also so much more. It is a hormone imbalance that prevents your body from doing what it should do. One thing it doesn't do right is ovulate which is why unovulated eggs turn into cysts. You would need full hormone blood work taken, at different points in your cycle for a doc to know more. For me, unmedicated, I get only 4-5 periods a year plus terrible other issues because of my PCOS and hormone imbalances.
I wouldn't jump to conclusions yet. A 34 day cycle is very normal and opks don't work for all woman.Pregnant with baby GIRL #2, due August 2019

No. You have to have all the signs for a true PCOS diagnosis including ovaries that are PC.

No, you don't have PCOS. One cyst on an ovary is a functional cyst - it is the corpus luteum the egg came out of and is not what people have when they have PCO.
