    Breastfeeding + Recent Loss

I'm still nursing my 2-year old, and last cycle I ovulated for the very first time since he was conceived. I caught the egg, but unfortunately it was a chemical. I am so sad and trying to prevent that heartbreak again. I've talked to a lot of other nursing moms who are TTC and many of them take B6 after a chemical to help sustain the next pregnancy.

Would that kill my sway? I haven't been very strict about my sway at all, so I don't want to make it even worse if it's a total no no. If not, might there be something else that could help? I feel like maybe my progesterone is low.

I don't know about the b6, but I just wanted to say that I had a loss in January while BFing my DS2, and I'm now 16 weeks along with a new pregnancy while still BFing. The only thing I changed was I went a bit less strict on my pink sway and stopped alcohol and coffee. I don't think one chemical necessarily means you need to change anything, unfortunately it just happens sometimes.

The vast majority of chemical pregnancies are just a bum egg. People may think they took B6 and it did something but it was the placebo effect. I see B6 cause tons and tons of trouble for people (it can delay O and make your LP get even shorter) and it rarely if ever helps (if it does help, it takes 3+ months and surprise surprise, people are generally having a normal cycle again by 3 months anyway)

I do not recommend B6. It seems to sway blue but that's beside the point - it may really mess up your cycle and make your egg go missing for months and it does nothing to prevent chemical.

    I'm sorry for your loss.

Thank you ladies. This is why I ask here first- I'm glad I didn't buy it when I was out. I'll just wait and see what happens. I just really don't want to go through those emotions again hoping I'm one of the women who just had a bad egg!
