Lolabelle - My DH likes to point out that its more a comforting thing for him. I will try and start a good time bed routine for him and see if it helps. He loves singing, and books! I think we all can be raised because all that babies are so awesome no matter the month their bornI started temping vaginally Cd7, and deleted the af temps which were orally.
Mommy2apples - Aren’t you just amazed at how fast they grow?!! My hubs is from Ohio![]()

Naci! It's bittersweet how fast they grow! So fun to watch them learn though, but hard at the same time!
So cool! Which part of Ohio?

LMSM - so much emotion and I can feel it just by reading how you felt. I think for me it’s a little harder because I’m a SAHM, so it’s hard to just drop a feeding. I will try and start to keep him a little more busy. I do think he will nurse more if he gets bored of big brother (5 yr old). I think with a solid routine it may help us more. She just learned to cuddle sounds like a distant dream lol I bet it was bittersweet, but necessary.

Mommy2apples - Parma, Ohio we try and visit once a year, but being in Hawaii it's super expensive to fly back mainland. They just came and stayed with us back in February to see the kiddos

Nacire-I can def see how it would be harder trying to wean as a SAHM. DS2 was in daycare for 5 days as a 3 month old in May before my school year was over and then again as a 6 month old when I went back to work. It was easier to drop those day feedings on the weekends since he was getting the bottle at daycare. It was bittersweet stopping, but I was trying to get AF to return so I could ttc #3 so I had a mission lol
GL-just do what feels right for you & DS!!
LMSM-you mentioned mastitis...eek, I had the worst infection & ended up in the hospital for 2 days. Had an abscess & minor I&D surgery! Terrible pain ouch! Only time I've ever been in the hospital besides babies.Last edited by Lolabelle; June 12th, 2017 at 10:16 PM.

True dat :P it’s honestly the highlight of my day picking them up at daycare – little one drops everything runs over to me saying “Mummyyyyy” and demands a cuddle by climbing on me haha love it, she always was a cuddly one, and a Mama’s girl, but she definitely has been even more cuddly after we weaned – and that’s fine by me, they are only little for so little time
It sounds like a dream said like that but she has her tanties in the middle of the night now if I don’t give her a bottle at times – which is hard to not cavee in for – I offer an alternative (water, dummy, cuddly blanket etc) – so I def think the key is redirecting attention, offering an alternative..so
I do think that distracting your DD2’s attention will definitely help for the day feeds – I can sympathise, when you are together 24/7 there is nowhere to “hide” lol you got this mamaLucky Mummy to 4 sweet divas (2013) (2015) (2018) (2021) and 1 sweet boy (2024) that completed our family

Lolabelle - My hubs too! He was on a flight to Korea on Friday so he couldn't watch. I emailed him they won because he couldn't watch, and maybe he should't watch this game
He is superstitious when it comes to he's sports teams. Like he'll ask if he drank a beer last game or if he didn't to determine what he does for the game he's watching.lol
