I'm trying my best to catch up...
Maxim: Overall I find boys have more energy, but socially are soooo much easier (this is with my teacher hat on). I think having two older sisters, if you were to have a boy, he would have two lovely role models and he would probably be quite calm.
Yay for testing this Friday!
Pbn3: Wishing you all the best for tomorrow lovely! Great that DH is going. I'll try and check in during the day xoxo
My O day on both clomid cycles was 13 and then 17.
Sky & Kat - Yay for first appointments coming up!!
To everyone I've missed, hope you're all well xo
AFM: Feeling crabby, down, bloated, emotional; like bad PMS. Tomorrow is my third clomid tablet, so then only 2 left! Then the OPKs start![]()

^^^I agree totally with Iwant4kids! I too am a teacher, and I find this to be true. I also find boys that have older sisters to be more grounded. Boys in general are super snugly with their mamas, which is completely awesome!

Sky-I forgot how early you got a BFP & I believe it was dreaming who got a BFP at 6dpo! Max-test when you're feeling the urge to POAS b/c you could implant early & you just never know!!! I love how Iwant4 described having 2older sisters as a role model. My brother was 7 years younger than me & I just adored him. He had a head full of blond curls and I loved helping take care of him & showing him off lol. He did have soo much energy. I always described him as Dennis the Menace b/c he was so fast you'd only see his tracks lol. He grew up to the be the nicest gentleman, married & has a 1 year old daughter. He is such a hands on Dad! I believe all of the women in his life were great role models and raised him to be caring & respectful [emoji4] With my own 2 boys, yes they have LOTS of energy & keep me active. BUT they are super snugly & sweet!!

Omg you guys, I'm an emotional mess this morning. Your messages made me cry! WTH lol.... That sounds exactly like my nephew Lola - he is insanely energetic, always hitting me with some type of sword and running around in his spider man costume, but then also lays his head on me and tells me how much he loves me. It makes me melt. My girls are so sweet, but they are also SO dramatic and girls can be so, so mean. I do want a dd, but honestly, what is meant to be will be and you guys are right, a boy that has older sisters can certainly get all those nice attributes from watching them. Lola, so sweet to hear about your brother!
Alright, so tomorrow is 7dpo, I *might* take a FMU osom test just for fun. I hate testing too early because I just get disappointed to see bfn's (especially after the past few cycles of seeing the same), but we'll see if I get inspired or not. My temps are going back up a bit, but in my last 2 BFP cycles they went down before I got a BFP, so we'll see.
Sky & dreaming, I cannot believe how early you got your BFP's! Have you guys confirmed if you're having a singleton or twins yet? I always thought twins would show up earlier on BFP's due to the hcg.

Oh Max are so much fun! They love their mommy unconditionally and oh can melt your heart with the cutest things they do and say. Yes they are rough and tough and love all boy things. I wouldn't trade them for anything.
My four year the other day!
I said do you love mommy?
Kolton: yes
Me: why?
Kolton: because you are nice to me and you are beautiful!
Talk about a major heart melt!

Max!! You better believe I'm still here pulling for you. And just stay on that crazy train bc once your pregnant it will continue. I'm *usually* emotionally stable but not yesterday [emoji23] Worried about everything, health, gender, miscarriage, fear of twins [emoji15] (you're with me on this [emoji1325]).
Honestly, I think we are in a win/win! If a 3rd girl, then hopefully older 2 will include her. If a boy, then older 2 will mother him [emoji3] I think my 3 yo is going to be excited. I think my 6 yo will be hesitant maybe even jealous bc she will fully grasp what it means [emoji23] But, my 6 yo is also a caretaker so I will include her in everything and let her be my helper!! Now get that bfp and let's do this together Sista!!
Also for symptoms I had that tingly/letdown feeling like crazy in my boobs at 8 dpo which made me wonder. And I got a very very faint positive on 9 dpo like not 100% sure I believed it but a tad more noticeable on 10 dpo. My progression has been slower than others just FYI so don't let that freak you out. But, I'm definitely progressing and had a very very dark wondfo yesterday at 22 dpo.

Ttc-I admire your patience lol.
Max & Kat-I was seriously thinking how it is win-win for both of you either way. I think 3 girls would be so much easier than 3 boys! Love the idea of having 2 protective big bro's and a little sister, but this is our last-3 boys would be a handful. I would need for 3+ boy mommas to tell me how awesome it is lol.
Max-Fx that feeling emotional is leading up to your BFP! Try not to be disappointed if it's a BFN at 7dpo. Think of it as a baseline & an experiment as to how early you will detect your BFP! I really believe that since you've had your appt with an RE & she said it's not a matter of IF, but WHEN & knowing that Clomid is a backup plan, these things help to mentally relax! So I feel confident that you'll get your BFP and won't even need to try that route, but at least you know you have options!!!Last edited by Lolabelle; June 14th, 2017 at 10:00 AM.

Oh & Max-they can chime in, but Dreaming has had her appt & it's just 1 healthy bean. Sky & I have our appt on the same day June 30th....so we'll see about twins for Sky...oh I'd be so envious lol (but of course super excited). Sky-drawing a blank, what were your thoughts on twins-would that be exciting or more shocking/overwhelming to you?

I have three boys Lola! It's a lot of fun actually! No hard at all, but then my oldest boy is 9 1/2 years older than my four year old and 11 years older than my two year old. Still fun though. Then baby girl is right there in the middle being mother hen!
