    Ohh Max & LMSM-sorry
Max-Hope you can enjoy DH's dinner. Didn't pbn once mention that you could possibly be 8dpo depending on when you o'd (or am I just hoping?).
Fx, that tomorrow brings BFPs! If this isn't the cycle, you both WILL conceive in just a matter of time! Remind me how long have both of you been ttc?

I wouldn't give up hope yet, didn't pbn say depending on implantation some women don't get Bfps until 11dpo??

"Most of the time, implantation occurs about nine days after ovulation, but it can occur as early as seven days or as late as 12 days after ovulation."

This is what Google has to say about it, and pbn said it takes about 48 hours after implantation for hgc to register on a test. So I'm thinking some women may not get a Bfp until 14dpo...??

Don't give up yet ladies, I'm still for you!

Ttc-I think that you're right that it may take longer for some depending on implantation. I never had a BFP before 11dpo on a frer until this cycle at 9!
LMSM & Max-I KNOW how bad you both want this & it's SOOO hard waiting, but easy to feel defeated each cycle. I really was at my wit's end on my 5th cycle ttc & would've been on my 6th, so I KNOW what you're feeling!! This one is not over yet & really really really hope you're both pleasantly surprised tomorrow [emoji173]All my fingers crossed!!!

"The early urine home positive pregnancy test (HPT) can usually detect pregnancy 6-7 days after implantation."

Okay actually google says this too, so if you add the longest possible days it takes for implantation (12) and longest possible days it takes to get a positive after implantation (7) that would mean some women test negative until 19dpo That seems way off...

I think I'll just shut up and stay off google now. But I do still believe it's a possibility for anyone to become pregnant and still test negative up until a missed af.

9dpo is far too early to write a cycle off but I've been there so many times and felt exactly the same, it's hard to believe you can still get a pos hpt when everyone else seems to be getting one at that dpo.

Ttcblue not sure what early tests those are referring too but 6-7 days after implantation would not apply to sensitive tests. Here is a quote from a government published study:

    RESULTS:

First Response Early Result had an analytical sensitivity of 6.3 mIU/mL, which was estimated to detect greater than 95% of pregnancies on the day of missed period. The sensitivity of Clearblue Easy Earliest Results was 25 mIU/mL, which indicated detection of 80% of pregnancies. The sensitivity of the five other products was 100 mIU/mL or greater, indicating detection of 16% or less of pregnancies. Three of these last products included faulty devices.

Here's just one of many of these types of tallies (I cannot for the life of me think of the word that describes these tallies 😠😠 total brain fail &#128514 As you can see, more people got a bfp on 11dpo than 8, 9 and 10dpo

Max, hope you still we're able to enjoy your your night out hon!

Kat, this is only cycle 2, which is like barely the start of trying..but admittedly, am over swaying, am over waiting..I feel like with getting pregnant with my girls I have given enough/ all of my patience to Mother Nature and now should be my turn to be rewarded, and just fall pregnant by like looking at hubby like so many seem to... I was hoping HE was doing my fertility levels some good, and just cannot bear the thought of going down the path of fertility doctor/medicated cycles/timed sex ( or potentially ivf) , and hubby either. It's basically either we conceive naturally and soon or it's game over

Appreciate your reassuring words ladies, but yeah with so many getting their BFP s at 8-9 dpo, feels like there is no hope to hang to any,ore..surely even if it's early there would be a hint of something
Anyways, I promise I will brush it off and be more positive tomorrow..don't like it when I am so down, it's just not me.
