I'm my ultrasound I found that my u uterus is retroverted. Is anyone here is with retroverted uterus?

Ooo sumbal that's encouraging to hear because my hubby dreamed a while back we were having another boy! I've never heard of retroverted uterus hope all is still ok. And I would melt away if I tried to fast also so I don't blame you for not. Happy to hear from you and all is going well.
Lola how long did it take to get to you? I have not been able to hear heartbeat yet because my first app they had to use the portable u/s machine and it didn't have noise so I'm anxious! I know it's just a wives tale but I'll be able to stay up with how fast or slow it is. All my boys followed the tale of slow heart rate. Though it was fast until about 20 weeks

Ash when you will know gender? 10 weeks finally passed . Now time is getting closer. I remember you told about 22nd July, is it scan date or nipt?

I won't be able to get the nipt I'm not old enough or don't qualify. Booo.... but my nt scan for nub guessing is July 11th and I'll be 13+1 then my elective gender scan will be July 22nd as long as dh doesn't work that weekend

Sumbal I should ha e results from nipt and nuchal scan for my next ob appt on the 6th July. Even though we've opted to include gender on the testing I want to stay team green. The only way I would confirm gender if is the ultrasound tech slips again or I see an obvious nub at my scan. Going to do my very best not to see anything but bubs face as I want a surprise at birth so very much!!

Kat it seemed to work for my friend! Even her SIL who organised her baby shower knew 😕 which I'm guessing means MIL knew..... so we were playing a gender guessing game and SIL was like 'well I can't guess because I know' *giggle giggle (was abit strange &#128514

Lola not sure how the visual table doesn't line up with the written info? If both your age and month of conception were either both even numbers (eg your 34 and concieved in April 4th month) or odd (your 35 and conceived in May 5th month) then that guesses girl but if one of the them are odd and one even (eg. Your are 35 and month conceived was April (so 4) or 34 and month conceived was May 5th month then it guesses boy

Ash that's exactly what mine did!!!! When I did this test last year and it frothed away I was only 7/8 weeks'ish I think which is too early to do it apparently. Even though its baloney I'm pretty sure its done at 10 weeks (or after?) because gender is 'known' then? Will be interesting to see if anyone gets fizz!!!

Ok I officially have 'smell' aversions happening. Yesterday all I could smell in my kitchen and on my benchtops was yukky, damp, old chux smell even though I'd not long started a new one. So got a new one out again yesterday afternoon but by this morning the bad chux smell is even worse. So bye bye chux and from now on all surfaces will be wiped with disinfectant wipes only (I used to use both) and any dishes that don't fit in dishwasher will need to be washed with a dish scrub brush. Going shopping for one this morning and dh is going to think I'm going nuts 😂

Oh and since last night nothing is appealing food wise finally!!! I managed some toast this morning but could've easily gone without 😕 Not sick, just nothing sounds agreeable in my head lol. Cant say I'm unhappy about that because I have been eating like a horse! Looking forward to bland (by that I mean healthier 😂&#128514 food and less of it!

Ugh pbn wish I was happy about bland lol. Smells have bothered me for a while particularly deodorant! I've bought dh and myself about 3 different kinds and nothing smells good for more than a day 🤢

Sumbal - So glad to hear from you. My appointment is on 30th same day as Lolla and Kat's is on 28th. No idea about retroverted uterus. Did your doc say anything?

[emoji51][emoji51][emoji51][emoji51] have to have the AC on all the time in car or at home. Dh is so sweet about it though. Pbn-there must be a typo on the Mayan calendar check it out. I'm 38(Even) and conceived in May(5-Odd) and that means Boy, but then look at the chart, it says girl! And smells-ugh I feel ya! Everything smells 10x worse! Crowds of people, opening my refrigerator, diaper changes bleh [emoji40]...Ash-how funny that you've bought so many deodorants, but I totally get it 🤣
Ash-also, I ordered the Doppler on Friday & got it today (Monday)!!! Pretty fast!!!
Sumbal-I hope the Doppler is safe, I'll have to research that more, but I have known others that used one without issues. I also have a retroverted uterus & discovered it with DS1. It's basically just a tilted uterus-it tilts back towards the pelvis & it didn't cause any issues with my pregnancy. It usually corrects itself as baby grows as mine did. Glad you aren't fasting b/c that would be so tough in the early stages of pregnancy! And ugh the snake dreams Hope we don't have anymore...they're so real & scary!
