    It may be too carby if you are on PCOS diet for PCO. I know it feels counterintuitive to what others are doing but if you are really a PCOSer you should NOT go fully veg because the higher carbs will mess with your PCOS and may inadvertently sway blue by raising blood sugar and testosterone.

    Hi ladies I've been away on holidays a few days, I did ok on the diet a few cheats but eaten with my meals.
    I've still been eating the same foods but adding more cheese and full fat yogurt to up my fat & protein. I'm trying my best to cut out all white carbs and sugar but I found I'm loosing weight really quickly doing this even though I'm eating 1600 -1800 cals a day. I'm at 105 lbs I don't want to stop exercising because it's getting good results I'm just trying to maintain my weight.
    What type of crackers or revita bread is everyone using I saw lots of different kinds & wasn't sure which one to get?

    Hi ladies hope you're all doing well.

    Pink rose the crackers that I sometimes have are nairn's gluten free wholegrain crackers, they come in a few different flavours. The cracked black pepper are my favourite, especially dipped in humus.

    I seem to be having three meals a day 2 to 3 times a week as I'm so hungry at about 4:30. I have my main meal about 7ish so I can last until 1 the next day when I get in from work.

    I'm not going totally pcos version but I'm doing my best and trying not to beat myself up too much about it. I'm not snacking, keeping within limits, fibre, doing exercise 5-6 days a week and I've also managed to get hold of two months supply of clomid through a private doctors too!

    Eating lots of salad with mayo in wholemeal pittas at the moment, sometimes with a couple of falafels and sour cream and salsa. Lunch being either sushi or toast with butter and a no sugar yogurt. I sometimes have a brunch bar too which I know I shouldn't, but having these little things means I'm not loosing too much weight.

    Hi ladies! I'm just changing over to the PCOS version of LE and finding it hard to wrap my head around after all the empty cal and carb heavy foods I was eating on the standard LE!
    I'm doing the cardio 5x a week and hoping to ttc in Aug but now with my confusion I may hold off til Sept. I'm afraid to tho as I am already losing weight and I don't have a lot to play around with.
    I'm having 3 meals a day. Fasting for around 14 hours before first meal. A sample day is like this:
    B: coffee with sweetener and full fat milk. Grilled tomato, wholegrain toast with a little butter, possibly two grilled turkey bacon or scrambled egg whites. Full fat coconut or strawberry yoghurt and green grapes.
    Then fast til dinner if I can.
    D: white rice and grilled garlicky prawns or white potato, lots of veg like broccoli/carrots/peas and baked salmon or some kind of protein. Should I cut red meat and limit chicken making my main source of protein seafood?

    Then after cardio I have another meal which is usually WG bread or a tortilla with cheese and veg toasted under the grill, yoghurt or dairy free ice cream (I love a coconut milk based ice cream - can I still have it if I only have a little and it's within limits?) If I'm craving something sweet and carby I will eat it now as I know I can still stay within limits. I have wine at this meal too to up my cals as I am trying to stick with eating 1800 cause I lose weight fast when I diet and with the cardio I've lost a lb a week for the last 3 weeks despite not really being "on diet".
    I just want to get established on the diet and get my head around it so I can forget about it and not stress over doing it right!!

    Do you have totals for the fat and protein in addition to the calories??

    Seafood no more than 2x a week so use chicken or turkey the rest of the time (also eggs and dairy)

    Ice cream is ok in small amounts since you are doing this for preemptive reasons and not full blown PCO

    I would do whole eggs 4-6 days a week in addition or instead of the egg whites (unless you are already maxed out on fat)

    Cals are not over 1800. Fat and protein are usually the max at 60g each. I was thinking that maybe I can cut down a little in the week or two before we attempt or is that a bad idea?

    Hi ladies I've been so busy this past few weeks I haven't had much of a chance to get on here. I hope everyone is doing well with their diets. I'm just doing my best but I feel it's never good enough I'm ttc this month and keep thinking I haven't done enough. Im going to try and be very strict this month no cheats and relax as much as possible.

    My diet has been much the same lots of cheese salad sandwiches or wraps and fruit for lunch. Soups with wholemeal bread, rice with vegetables and sauce, wine, fiber and alcohol. I do add in a small treat most nights after dinner to keep me going.

    I just wonder at times will there ever be a happy ever after to all this gd I just never seem to have a day with out feeling some thing is missing from my life. It makes it harder having no one to talk to except my dh I know he is good tries to under stand me but I'm sure he's sick listening to me.

    Pink Rose I could've written that myself. Especially feeling like something is missing from my life.
    We are trying this month too but i worry my diet hasn't been good enough. What's done is done though, we have 3 and a bit weeks till I expect to ovulate just trying my best this last few weeks and what will be will be!
