We are going to start trying for a baby in the next month or so and want to make sure I am on the right road. Please let me know if I am missing something or should take anything away.
I have been skipping breakfast, except coffee (I have 2 kids and I need the coffee haha).
Taking....calcium, cranberry, prenatal. Plan to take sedated/claritin 1 hour before bd when we do try.
Cardio 3-4 times a week
Trying to watch the calories and eat less meat when I can.
The plan is 3-4 days before ov. I've been tracking with opk.
DH is not doing a diet or supplements.
Should I use rephresh or no?
Thanks for any thoughts!!

I'm not a pink swayer so can only comment briefly on things that I've gleened from others and seem to be spoken about a lot. Most pink swayers also do fiber while on LE diet. I also think most don't take the calcium??? Are you having any alcoholas part of your sway?
Are you planning just one attempt? One attempt sways heavily pink. Are you wanting the attempt at O-3 or O-4? My understanding is the odds off conception from this far out from O are pretty low. Most ppl go for one attempt at +opk.DD1 (2014)
DD2 (2016)
Oursway is getting into NOW or NEVER territory

Hi and welcome!
Coffee is totally allowed on this site, it actually sways pink.
Calcium is totally at your discretion, many of us (myself included) got boys with it but I know many people want to include it if they haven't already tried it. Just be sure you're doing calcium supps without Vitamin D in them (Vit D may sway strongly blue) and you aren't doing the tons and tons of dairy that some sway diets recommend. Dairy is loaded with nutrients and more nutrients = more boys!
Cranberry is not something I recommend at all as it hasn't worked in our results and has a lot of risks and side effects for both you and a future pregnancy. If you must use it, stop at O as taking during pregnancy may cause miscarriage.
I don't recommend prenatals as they very likely sway blue. If you really can't give them up, try reducing to only 3x a week instead of daily, your body will still "notice" the drop in nutrients and it may mitigate taking them somewhat
Cardio - we have best results with 5+, 6-7 is best. 3 days a week is iffy to me, it may sway blue.
I do not recommend Sudafed for any woman to take - it has been linked to strokes in younger women and taking it alongside the cranberry may increase those risks greatly.
RE RepHresh and the cutoff - I think you should pick one or the other. Neither one works for swaying, and both cut odds of conception. Adding a 4 day cutoff to RepHresh (not to mention the antihistamine) and you may as well take a birth control pill - you aren't going to conceive that way. Now, it's fine if you want to give it at least a month doing everything before dropping things but just be warned you should expect BFN doing that.
Timing - totally up to you, I'd recommend no longer than 3 day cutoff max. Be sure you are sticking with one attempt. For reasons we don't know, one attempt has been supereffective for us as a sway tactic. Timing has been debunked, but something about that one attempt works. So ditch the long cutoff before adding attempts!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

It's ok, most of us tried those things at some point along the way! We just want you to avoid things that didn't work for us and may harm you!!
Please don't hesitate to ask about the reasoning behind any of this stuff - there is always some reason why we do things differently than other sites do and I'm happy to go over it for you.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Hi! So I purchased the plan and have been researching a lot. I have two boys right now and my last attempt is for a girl! It's our last shot. With my first boy I did the opk tests. Got positive for two days and we dtd those two days and the next. With my second son I got a positive opk. We did it just once and had a boy. My husband does fr and never has abstained really so for this time around I thought I will have him abstain for 7+ days and only do it once. Since I conceived both boys during ovulation I am thinking about doing a cut offf. I usually get a positive opk for a day or so From the last few months it happens on day 13/14 of my cycle. So when would you dtd for cut off based off the positive opk. I have been taking calcium. Magnesium and am debating between aspirin or cranberry. I am also taking sudafed due to sinus issues so will do that as well since I have been taking normaly I have tried doing the diet and fast all day til noon or so every day. Work out 7 days a week Intensely. Any personal advice you have I would truly appreciate it. We are trying to conceive in middle of July. So this month. So any pointers. Thanks so much. So nervous!

If you're on Sudafed for medical reasons you should skip the aspirin and cranberry as the combo may make you have higher risk of strokes while on Sudafed.
What you have to understand is that sometimes you can do the right thing for pink and still get a boy anyway. So doing one attempt is not what got you a boy the second time, there were other things going on that swayed blue for you. It's fine if you want to try a cutoff this time, I just want to stress to you that one attempt has been by far and away best odds of conception so you need to ditch timing before adding attempts (so please don't have 3 attempts with a cutoff!)
If your cycle is fairly regular I'd start off doing your cutoff on CD 11 and see what happens. Give it a couple months there.
I think I hit everything - lmk if any more questions!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thanks so much! I will only do the one attempt. Does sudefed just dry up or does it lower ph as well??? I'm using the paper testers? You use cm and not urine right?

I'm of the opinion that the reason pH goes down is because your CM dries up. Your vaginal pH is naturally low and then if you don't make much EWCM it tests more acidic on the strips because it's affected by the natural vaginal pH. So the Sudafed really probably does both, and even if it didn't, it's simply too risky to take a bunch of blood thinners on top of Sudafed as women have had bleeding in their brains (hemorrhagic stroke) doing that. It isn't worth it for things that don't even work anyway.
Yes if you must test pH (and this is something that did not work for so many of us I no longer see merit in it, but of course up to you) you use only CM pH and not urine.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
