Ouch 😣 so are you going for more than one attempt at pos opk? I *think you mentioned something about aiming for night of pos opk and following morning? Also I want to give you a heads up that you *may* experience more than one day of pos opks but we always treat the first positive as 'the' positive opk. A pos opk is when the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line. The next day you *may* experience a blaring pos (so test line much darker than control) but you also may o soon after.... general rule of thumb is you should o 12-48 hours after 'first positive'
clear as mud? 😉 just wanted to pre warn you so if it does happen (very well may not) you're prepared and understand why

I will do an opk tomorrow. Would I have missed it though doing it at 1pm? Once I have a positive I won't test anymore. But will share a photo so I'm 100% sure
We will bd the night of positive then the next morning and then that night. So once I get a positive I should o 12-48 hrs after

Yep spot on! 12-48 hours after pos opk and that's a great idea to stop testing as those attempts will cover you very nicely whether you o the day after or second day after first positive. Plus we will see your shift in temp to confirm
Stick to testing between 1-2pm. Go straight to the middle and test at 1.30pm if you like (that's something I'd do 😂

Awesome thank you so much.
I usually end up testing between 1-1:30 all depends on how long I can hold my bladder for especially if I haven't had a lot of water.
I know I have probably read it but can't remember, trying for a boy are we also meant to have glucose? This is something I don't have a lot of in my diet.

Halley sorry but I have no idea about the 'glucose' for swaying blue?
@LMSM do you know anything about this? Any other blue swayers or xxforhubby, can you advise?
Iwant4kids those lines sure are impressive 😀 cannot wait to hear your numbers to find out if we have reason to tease you about 👭 or 👫 😄 although high hcg levels don't always mean multiples lol! I remember xxforhubby had really really high levels for ds2? I think it was! That wont stop us teasing though 😉 Will you join the ddg after your bw results?
Hey I think you asked earlier about whether I swayed? I didn't sway and only actually did sway (properly) in 2015. The next year was on and off LE diet but more attempts as I was just trying to get pregnantI posted a sway which I specified was a non-sway as I felt I had quite a few unintentional pink sway tactics. It helps overall to see whether some things do or don't make a difference I guess?

I *think* the glucose thing is to help boy embryos, which tend to be more frail...when doing ivf, embryos are in a pétri dish with glucose as they go through that early cell division, before transfer into the woman's womb.
The idea being then to ensure good levels of glucose during tww to help implantation etc?
I know I used that as an excuse to myself to treat me and'the girls to share a piece of rich chocolate cake with babycinnos for them when we were out this amLucky Mummy to 4 sweet divas (2013) (2015) (2018) (2021) and 1 sweet boy (2024) that completed our family
