Morning!
TTcblue – so sorry that your plans have gone down the drain but I would totally agree with the ladies, BD tonight and tomorrow if you can, which will likely still sway more blue than pink..especially since you’ve done so well with your sway and eod this month!!
I remember reading than to be considered a pink sway with lots of releases, you’d need DH to release at least once a day for like 5-7 days in a row which isn’t the case here – yes it’s not ideal that you “lost” that fresh batch, but given you are just about to O, it’s probably best to BD more rather than not – hopefully the ladies that have some expertise will be able to help!
Usually O is around that 24h mark post pos opk – BUT you can have a short surge and O very quickly after the pos opk so that 12h is possible- less likely than the 24-48 h window, but really depends when you caught the surge too!
Naci – so happy you had the lovely time on Maui – can’t wait for the update once you see your OB!
Iwant4 – praying for you that baby bean remains sticky! If it’s brown, it’s old blood so hopefully nothing to worry about too much esp considering you had this at the exact time for your DS2 – might just be baby is digging into your uterus that bit more – or your cervix can have these discharges with the hormonal changes!!
PBN – hope the getting your boy back to school has been okI hate the increase in traffic and people once school holidays are over lol
Mommy – what a nice outing you all together – looks like you had a great time! And so cute – your daughter def is a mini you!
I don’t know that singer but looks like I might have to look him up, esp if he is a bit of an eye candy too hehe
Is it today (Monday ) you are starting the Clomid hon?
This am feeling blah – sore throat all the way up to one ear and achy muscles – just hope my lemon water and good thoughts will ward it off :P
We had a great weekend – M loved going to her friend’s Bday party – apparently all the girls love him, he is the little heartthrob – at lunch, she said to me “ Mummy, when you have a baby boy can we name him Cohen please?” (name of the little boy’s whose Bday we attended)..didn’t realise these love stories thing started so early- having said that, my 1st “boyfriend” was since we were 3 until we were 10 when he moved away –longest relationship I’ve had before meeting DH lol
Anyways, I ramble – take care lovelies!Lucky Mummy to 4 sweet divas (2013) (2015) (2018) (2021) and 1 sweet boy (2024) that completed our family

My kids get told they look just like Dad all.the.time – good thing I know I carried them :P
They have his almond shaped eyes – but other than that, they look so much like me as a kid – not that people know – so frustrating lol
Woohoo for starting Clomid!
We ended up getting him a Nija Turtle figurine thingy – M’s choice

Just to explain Sky and avoid confusion the dilemma this morning was that ttcblue got her pos op this morning and was having her one of three attempts after a 48 break. So hubbys sperm load would have been recovered and a healthy size ready to go. He has pulled out instead of releasing in ttcblue (although he now says he didn't really finish and we are hoping he's telling the truth 😉
so the worry was she was going into o with a 3-o attempt, a 1-o attempt with little to no swimmers and two more attempts only 12 hours apart (so little recovery time). I think the idea of 3 attempts is to swamp the area with as much sperm as possible and that very first attempt at 1-o will always have the largest load if there's been a bd break and theother two attempts keep it topped up. I do think though like everyone else that better to keep going than not.
Ovulation usually takes place 12-48 hours after first pos opk. It just seems to happen mostly during the day after pos but there are always exceptions. Quite a few people tend to o two days after pos, some even 3That's why it's good to have at least 3 practice cycles going into to ttc so you get a feel for when you o, but then of course things often decide to go haywire just when you think you have a pattern 😂
Iwant4kids I'm sorry about the spotting 😦 but agree it should be ok because its brown. Mine was too but I was more worried about the clot that followed and the persistent and quite strong cramps I had for the week following. When will you ring for your results? And you'll go in Tuesday for the second draw? Hope both that the spotting ceases and your betas give you you some comfort. I know how hard it is and I struggled alot this pregnancy with yo-yo'ing between being excited then being mad at myself for letting myself get excited because things could still go wrong 😩 All you can do is take it a day at a time ❤❤❤

Hey ladies! Just wanted to update!
So dh swears he didn't actually finish and that he stopped because he lost interest when he thought I had a yeast infection. I do actually believe him because the preseed and baking soda looked rather odd after we dtd.. Not sure why because I didn't use much at all. But he had no idea I was using anything because he didn't know it was attempt time.
Sooo, I left the decision up to him. I said if you want me to, I'll take the day after pill, we can throw out this month and try the next two instead. He said no, there was no reason to. He wanted to do this month.
So we just finished bd--about 12 hours after positive opk (but I took another opk an hour before this attempt--no hold--and it was still just as positive as this morning, if that makes any difference).
Sky: I made sure I got the big O and have had my legs/hips elevated for nearly an hour!
Thank all of you ladies for your help, advice, support and understanding!

PBN, is wet mucus still fertile mucus? I don't get the stretchy kind anymore. I know it's good for a girl, but I still worry about it.
