Lola- that was such a wonderful article and so very true. Those are all the things I want to teach my daughter and my boys. The main thing is we need to treat our childrern like treasures because that is what they truly are, and not because of how they look or what they wear but because of who God made them to be on the inside, their character.
Ash- I think you have a pretty good shot at a girl. I still wouldn't buy anything until you get it confirmed in a couple weeks though because it will be way more accurate then. Fx that it stays looking like a girl!

Thanks momoffourboyz but I started buying girly long before I was even pregnant [emoji23] I have issues but I just felt like I'd have a girl this time. It's going to be a big sale if I don't!

Pbn- I love all those crocheted animals. They are so adorable. And I love the pictures of the babies holding the octopuses legs, so adorable. Does anyone on here like to crochet for fun? I have been crocheting for about 5 years it is so fun. I like the fox and the sheep looks like it would take more time then the rest and is very cute to.

Me too Ash! [emoji175]We can only be good role models I suppose and start when they're young!
Mum of four monkeys-how unsettling for you to have 2 different results with the same test!! What was the name of the test? I thought they were pretty accurate. Is there a possibility of a vanishing twin?? I've read that you could get mixed results. How many weeks were you when you took the 2nd test? Really curious to hear what they say at your U/S on Monday...hopefully you'll know once & for all!!! That's very confusing!!! Ahhh!!!

I bought girl stuff from my second pregnancy on hoping for a girl at some point. Eventually I stopped because I was starting to lose hope but I am glad I had all those clothes because they did come in handy and I always bought them on clearance so my hubby never complained. And he was actually happy that the cost of clothing wasn't so much when we finally had our daughter. I know what you mean though it's so hard not to buy this adorable stuff. And honestly I really think you are having a girl this time anyway. I have guessed for a lot of people in the past and was almost always correct. My husband's sister was certain she was having a boy again for her last child asnd I just kept telling her nope this one is your girl and it was her girl.

Thank you for your response
It is the verifi nipt test. I was 18 weeks when I had it most recently and just assumed it would come back as boy again. All the chromosomal part of the test came back as normal (same as first test) so I'm delighted about that. I've now heard they are reliable for chromosomal markers ect but not so much for the gender but that's only if it's done too early or there is a vanishing twin not picked up. Because I was so far is anyone's guess if there was a vanishing twin or not this was mentioned along with the fact that my miscarriage was a month before this pregnancy but should have been clear of this by 11wks when I had the first test. Surely they would have checked for any sign of a vanishing twin on the first test as I had an ultrasound?? Fingers crossed all is normal and ok next week..just really hoping for a healthy baby as there has been endless problems with this pregnancy...doctor couldn't find a heart beat at 16 weeks so gave me a quick scan to check..all was ok but even looking at that pic it looks like a boyProud mommy to 516
