Hi all.
I'm in the middle of planning for my first sway, having started the LE diet this week.
I am gluten-free and after the first couple of days of the diet I'm finding it hard to make up my nutritional values to what they should be.
Thinking it may be because I'm not a bread eater.
When I had a look at the gluten-free breads in the supermarket (I'm in Australia) they all seem very high in sodium.
Is there anyone that's gluten-free and swaying that could give me some tips?
Thanks!

Any gluten-free girl swayers?

I have celiac so I ate gluten free while swaying (and of course when not swaying). Don't be worried about sodium. The LE diet is more concerned with calories, fat, and protein. I ate a lot of rice, potatoes, and gluten free bread/crackers while swaying. I also ate beans, veggies, fruit and candy for my sweet tooth. What exactly is it you're having trouble with? I'm happy to help!

Hi ksmom! Thanks for your reply!
I also have 2 autoimmune diseases (Rheumatoid Arthritis and Hashimotos Thyroiditis) so have been on a strict autoimmune paleo diet for the past couple of years (no dairy, nuts, seeds, sugar, eggs, rice, gluten, wheat.... the list goes on! haha)
I have been able to reintroduce a few foods in ok again (rice, eggs and dairy seem to be ok), but I really want to stay of gluten as I obviously don't want to risk a bad flare up.
Atomic just responded to another post I did in here so hopefully she can shed some light on some questions I have.
I think I just need to stick to rice cakes, rice, and perhaps some rice crackers. I also got some rice pasta so hopefully that's ok too.
I would love some bread, but the bread I normally make (small rolls) is paleo and has a few ingredients I'm not sure are ok on the LE diet (coconut flour, a couple of eggs and olive oil). Although, maybe I need to break down the nutritional value and see if it'll fit into my diet allowances.
The thought of eating candy again, after over 2 years of not touching them both excites me and scares me! Haha

I wouldn't stress about the sodium either. Developed a taste for salt while pregnant with DD1 and was still eating more than I ever had when I concieved DD2.
My understanding is that no foods/ingredients are totally off limits and based on what's in your bread rolls it doesn't totally scream blue friendly to me.DD1 (2014)
DD2 (2016)

yes we've had a lot of success with pink swayers going gluten free.
You don't need to eat bread. We have a version of LE Diet that can easily be done gluten free using potatoes and rice and it's in this thread, 5 from the top, called "atomic fertility diet". I know this is a PCOS thread but that's only because most of the gals who are using it have PCOS, but more and more ladies who don't have PCO are using it successfully.

Most of us have totally given up the sodium idea and our results have only gone up when we did. I got my girl eating tons of sodium after limiting it!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
