Crashing.....there are many women out there that have had VBAC's after 3...even 4 sections The rupture rate doesn't increase that much from 1 to 2 previous sections. As long as syntocin isn't used to augment the labour and preferably no epi is used(as you can feel if there is any separation whereas when you are numb it's very hard for the woman to know) it's very safe in comparison to another section Sorry if you know this info already! I'm a doula and like to spread birth info! xo

    hello all

lots of chatter again .... I'm trying to keep up!

Hang in there Maybe - I'm sure you'll feel brighter soon...

lovebeingamummy - where in Australia are you? I'm in Melbourne.
The school cut off age has changed to April now. (I'm a primary school teacher here... although only doing emergency at the mo) I kind of prefer the system here as there is a little room for manouver. In the UK it is the 31 August cutoff and then 1 Sept you are in the next school year. Here in Aus you get a few months flexibility and you can decide to start them early or late. I've looked into it as I'm not sure where we will be putting our boys into school. Although DS2s birthday is 31st August! I am not saying he wośldn't be fine as the youngest in the year... I just wish I had some choice to say... I think he would benefit from an extra year before starting school. In some European countries they don't start til 6...

Anyways... I just saw my bestfriends new baby girl for a little cuddle... she was wearing one of those little pink terry towelling all-in-ones and it really affected me... made me feel a little sad with longing...

Went to my docs this morning to check in and was hoping to get an early scan but he wouldn't do one. I've had one with my other 2 pregnancies so I'm a bit annoyed. I really like getting an early scan. He's just ordered the million and one blood tests. Feels like time has slooooooowed down.

Deaks - hope you caught that little egg!! Hopefully the 2ww goes quickly.

chocolate - (nice name btw!) I've got a luteal phase defect too. The defect itself can't cause MCs (not ones that you would be able to detect anyway because it wouldn't have implanted for long enough to get a BFP). If you had a MC, chances are it was down to a genetic cause, something that went wrong during conception... which is sadly very common.
I'm BF as well, my DS is 10 months, but I'm taking vit B6 to increase my LP. It's gone from 3 days (yes, really!) to 8 days last cycle. I'm hoping for a long enough LP this cycle to conceive. Vit B6 is perfectly safe when BF as long as you don't take it in ridiculous doses that would be harmful for you.

Morning ladies, how are you all today? I've got to start packing for our holiday to Cornwall on Saturday and get paint and stuff ready for my dad who's coming to decorate some of our house while we are away! At least being away should make the 2ww go a little quicker! Don't have that pregnancy feeling like others have had but at least I have mastered o+12..... took 6 months!!!

Maybe, hope each day gets a little easier for you Hun x

Rainbowflower - I thought I read somewhere about the lack of progesterone could cause a miscarriage up til the placenta takes over - but could be wrong, will look for the link later and post it, had some good info. About the lp defect. Hope the B6 works for you, I'm going to chat to a friend who is a gp later about what they would do if I can't lengthen it myself. Don't know if they would suggest clomid or progesterone - I think they would say ttc and see what happens, but I don't really want to do that if it could end in another miscarriage. However yes mine could have been dna, it felt odd from the word go, migraines etc. But sadly it took 12 long weeks to end! Deaks - have a fab holliday!

Pinga, I think I will feel the same when my brother has his 2nd girl ( poor guy really wanted a boy - they had a scan at drs at 17 weeks and they were told boy, then the 20 week scan and told girl! I had my suspicions as they could only see 2 lumps between the legs from behind, but gp said he saw something from the top view, so that didn't ring right in my ears as my boys were obvious from behind!)

For those BF and with short LP it could be down to you BF - I know when my cycle returned after having ds1 it was annovulatory then once i starting Oing my LP was only 10 it gradually increased naturally - worth trying b6 though x I have PCOS too but didnt know until i tried for ds2 (ds1 BIG surprised no AFs as i was ill then a random BFP!!) I have only had my PPAF and 1AF since ds3 and then got pregnant! I take pills to start AF then clomid to shock my ovaries to work!
