thats an awful dream lolaand i totally understand your other reasons for wanting a girl, i was exactly the same, i know it seems like im sitting pretty with my 2 daughters now and should just shut up, but i spent 5 years desperately wanting a girl and having boy after boy until i was a mum of 4 boys and no (living) girls.. i relate 100% to everything you and all the other boy mums who are waiting for their girl(s) say. i spent those years convinced i couldn't successfully carry girls and it was soul destroying.
there is nothing wrong in how you feel, i heard "boy" for the 3rd time 5 years ago and if it comes to that for you ill help in any way i can, i walked that exact same "boy #3" road and at that time i had no idea what my future was going to hold. i hope this is making sense, i guess what im saying is that although i may seem a million miles away from it now, rewind back to 5 years ago and i was where you are, a mum of 2 boys waiting to hear the gender of number 3 wishing, hoping and praying for a girl.. and as it was it didnt go my way. i truly hope you have a different ending to your #3 story and get your Sophiai have everything crossed for you to hear girl

Lola,
I hear you but try not to worry too much now unless you have to cross that bridge and if you do then see how you feel before making any big decisions. I'm struggling a bit still with hearing boy on Monday but what can I do baby is healthy and intoo feel guilty for feeling that way but we are all human at the end of the day. You never know, you may not react as badly as you thought. It's good that you are at least acknowledging your feelings either way, at this stage and not ignoring them.
In regards to your earlier comments about no sickness (just had a chance to properly catch up) my friend has 3 girls and had same symptom pregnancies and not sickness- lucky cow hey?so don't read too much into that either. I'm hoping and praying that you hear pink on Tuesday/Wednesday but I truly believe you will. I will defo be stalking this thread both of those day lol

Did you do a hardcore sway or anything you can say you truly believe changed your sway into being more successful compared to your boys? After all is it luck or a bit of both? I'm not sure but like yourself had wanted a girl since 2011.
Before then I wasn't that bothered and actually quite preferred boys but as the numbers increased it slowly started to become more of a want. I'm on no:5 now so doubt we will have anymore but one more sway would be amazing but I think I'd have to do more than 6-7 weeks to at least be in with a shot as my body must be super boy friendly having non ID boy twins the pregnancy before thisProud mommy to 516

this is my successful sway from last year which resulted in my youngest child
http://genderdreaming.com/forum/add-...y-attempt.html
it wasnt super strict at all, i read so many posts where atomic advised against the super strict pink sways because they tend to end in boys so i kept it simple. i did a solid 11/12 weeks on diet and we only had 1 attempt. i didnt do coffee, alcohol or exercise. i didnt sway with any of my boys i didnt know about it back then (wish i had) the sway posted above was my first time swaying and i could see the differences between how i got my boys vs what i was doing to sway, but you are right there is definitely luck involved. having said that women with 5,6,7+ boys have got girl/s with swaying and same goes for mums of huge girl families getting a boy/s with it so if you go for another sway you have every chance!!
i have to ask what is it like having twins? i love seeing twinsmy adult cousins are non id twins and are so so close, i imagine the early days are quite a whirlwind though?

Part 5: Due December 2017, Jan, Feb and March 2018
I wouldn't read too much into symptoms either. I was so sick with DD1, less so with DD2 but still vomiting once a day until 30 weeks. My angel DS had very little sickness, my rainbow DD was almost identical to my DS and I had high hopes. That was a sway opposite, my first sway attempt but admittedly only six months after DS' birth. I tried a lot harder this time, waited 18 months, took supps and backed off on exercise. I've had maybe three days of sickness, have hardly felt pregnant still at 18 weeks, and it appears to be yet another DD. Symptoms apparently don't matter.

mumof4 i dunno if this is helpful in any way but i can quickly break down the main differences between my girls vs my boys.
x4 no swaying, snacked/picked at food all day as didnt like eating large amounts in one go, multiple bd right through the month.
x2 no swaying, 1st time eating less frequently as busy with ds1, limited bd, 1 attempt in fertile window as bd once a week was our average then. (this pregnancy ended in a loss)
2nd time didnt eat at all thanks to coming down with gastro hours after our only bd attempt, the gastro lasted for several days and completely wiped me out, bd was 1 attempt just a few hours before the gastro started, illness prevented any more bd i was convinced that month was a washout.. i was wrong!
x1 pink sway, LE diet 2 meals a day no snacks, 1 attempt in fertile window.
my boys came from all day snacking and frequent bd, my girls though not all sway babies came from less frequent eating and 1 bd attempt, when i think on it now im like how on earth did i expect to get a girl during the boy years? its so obvious to me that i was completely on the wrong track, i just didnt realise it.now 6blue5pink

Oh Lola- I totally get it. I'd be 100% the same if I had 2 boys, no worries. We will be here for you no matter what.
4b2p- I think what you said makes perfect sense too [emoji175]
Mum of 4- why did I think you have 1 daughter? Tell me your b/g ratio!
My desire for a son is definitely a recent thing [emoji170] I do feel like my DH and I's lifestyles were different this time versus when I conceived my 2 girls especially bc I was eating high fat/calorie, BUT (for me) it was only for 4/5 weeks and I hadn't gained any weight. There's my concerns 🤣 But, I'm so so thankful my DH agreed to another baby. That in and of itself feels like winning the lottery, healthy will be amazing and boy will leave me speechless [emoji23] Now I'm rambling....

MOFM- I agree with 4b2p that you don't have to do a completely strict sway because it just adds stress to it all. But I did my sway for at least 6 months before I even tried to conceive again. I didn't snack at all, when I would get hungry I would chew aspartame gum and I ate regular meals with my family, I didn't cut meat out I just ate smaller portions. I lost I think 10 pounds which took me down to a bmi
