Those who have had sway opposites.. how did you process and cope when finding out? I just had the realisation that in the next couple of days I could find out that I'm having an opposite and I'm worried I'll fall apart for a bit..

Laurel for me when my sway failed it felt like a double failure so it hurt more than my previous non sway pregnancies where i heard girl.
1. I failed as i cant bring a boy into our family and 2. I tried at something (sway) and couldn't achieve that either.

Laurel. I didn't have an opposite sway per say. I didn't know about swaying until my second angel baby.
With my fourth I just assumed, he would be a girl, that I would have a pattern. Boy, girl, boy, girl. So I was devastated as soon as she turned the screen on and my fourth baby was showing he was indeed a he. I figured he would have to be my last baby due to csections. Luckily the ob gave us a go ahead for one more.
I wouldn't trade my little boy for anything! Fell in love with him and his personality! He's pretty great! I do long for just one more girl though!

It's my pick too! I love it, but husbands bosses grandaughter is Ella which puts him off. I don't think it's an issue!

For boys we will use my favourite name I wanted for last two pregnancies, so that would be nice to have a boy!

Max-yayyy for telling your mom & sis! I'm sure they're so excited! How did you spill the beans? And as far as behavior, I think it's a personality thing b/c my boys are WILD, but super sweet!
Blue-I don't know much about inductions & I don't think you're crazy at all for wanting that! However, I think most OBs won't induce unless medically necessary. I had a friend who was already dilated and in a lot of pain-her OB did induce (a week early) & everything turned out great with a vag delivery. How many weeks would you be? I will have a planned c-section and my OB won't schedule it until 39 weeks so that baby will cook a little longer (unless there is a medical reason for earlier).
Mum of four monkeys-I'll admit, I read your pronunciation before you asked if it looked like "Daniel." I don't think it will be read as Danielle & it's a nice name [emoji4]What your other kid's names-I think you've told us?

Hmm thats what i am fearing. I will be 38 weeks 5 days. I could do at 39 weeks but that would mean i would have to probably work 9 days of 12 hour shifts in a row.

See i work 7 days and get 7 days off. I got my colleagues to swap days with me so i can get 3 weeks off in a row. I wont have any sick leaves left as it will be January and i already have tickets for an out of state trip planned for april (my annual 4 weeks allowed leave). If i take maternity they will first use my annual leave days and then if i need extra give me FMLA.

Laurel-I was guessing "Ellie-ah-nuh" as well [emoji4] What is your boy name if you feel like sharing?? We have had our girl name picked out for years, before we even got engaged lol & it's Sophia Leigh w/ nn "Sophie Leigh." Most already know here so I won't keep bringing it up lol, but DH's brother & wife just named their baby Sophia Grace grrrr, but we still plan to use it!!
Mum-I see many are reading it as "Danielle," but as they've also said, once you tell people the name it won't be an issue! [emoji4]
