Kat- super cute baby!!! Don't you think the scans just arn't long enough? I'm always hanging around afterwards staring at the screen, wanting to Just spend that few minutes more admiring baby

Max- this is my 5th boy, 4th pregnancy and the first two i was ravenous. The twins, fairly hungry but couldn't keep anything down. This pregnancy no appetite at all lol

Welcome to all the new ladies. Ash- those are adorable shoes. Laurel- cant wait to find out Monday what you are having. Has anyone else found out what they are having yet? Lola- i hope you are going to show us some of the cute things you buy for your girl. Kat- very cute baby. Max- I think all babies have different calorie needs no matter what gender, so I wouldn't look into that to much. I hope everyone else is doing well to.
I don't know if any of you have seen the Boss Baby movie, but it is so cute cute and funny. I watched it last night with my kids they were all laughing throughout the whole movie, even my almost 12 year old son loved it. I think it is a great family movie.

LMSM freat to hear from you! Sorry you're unwell. I'd check with the pharmacist if there's anything OTC that's safe to take although what your currently doing sounds good, especially the paracetamol to keep the fever down. Iwant4kids mentioned the saline solution nose spray which may help with a blocked nose. Hope you're feeling better for dd's birthday!

Laurelw omg Monday [emoji50][emoji50][emoji3][emoji3][emoji3] how exciting!!!

Iwant4kids hope you see feeling better soon! I'm actually going to ask my ob about the whooping cough shot at my appt next Thursday. Cant remember how long it's supposed to last [emoji848] I'm also going to look into whether the boys are supposed to get one too?? I've never even thought of it until now?

Maxim there's a ddg info post on page 1 of our threads that tell you whether someone has swayed and whether pink/blue plus what they're having and due date [emoji3]

Hi and welcome bommy!!! Apologies if you've postsd previously and I've missed it! Have added you to the ddg info! We have lots of blue swayers in our group, more than I've seen in any other ddg which is simply awesome [emoji170]

I had lightening boob in early pregnancy this time too. Actually my boobs have never been this sore before that I can recall [emoji52] and they're still sore at 15w [emoji21]

Kat what a gorgeous baby [emoji7][emoji7] and perfect nubless profile pic [emoji23] Looks like bubs hand is waving or ready to shake hands. So cute [emoji7][emoji7][emoji7][emoji7]

Ash those shoes are just THE cutest [emoji3][emoji178] you will seriously have THE best dressed baby girl in your town!

Momoffourboyz we're going to watch that tonight!! Been humming and harring as the boys only seem to want to watch cars, transformers, dinosaurs, batman etc (pretty much anything with destruction [emoji23]) but I think we'll give it a go!

Will be starting another thread today ladies as we have reached 50 pages yet again [emoji38][emoji23] Will post the link once its done.

    I have a cold too....hoping it's not the flu.

Always thought I'd get the flu shot during second trimester....never did with my boys, but it wasn't pushed as much then. What are your thoughts?
Was going to get whooping cough in third trimester, or can you get it straight after birth? (had it before getting pregnant with my first so didn't need to worry).
I got the flu shot back in March, as I knew we were going to be ttc, and my gp always recommends it as when pregnant a simple flu can complicate much more. This may not be flu or at least the same strain but I would have thought I'd be immune lol
I had the flu shot in the end of my 2nd trimester for DD2 as that was in winter.
Also had the 3rd trimester whooping cough shot for my last pregnancy (wasn't recommended yet when pregnant with dd1).
Was not sick at all even surrounded by sick colleagues!

LMSM, hiiiii!!!! I've been wondering where you've been. So sorry to hear that you're sick! Must be so tough! I've never had the flu (knock on wood!), so I can't comment, but hope you feel better soon! And so, so, so happy that we are both in the ddg together! [emoji175]

Max - to give you more perspective I gained 15 pounds by 15 weeks last pregnancy [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51] which is really 15 pounds in 11 weeks. I ended up only gaining 15 more, thank goodness. But that just shows you how much I ate [emoji23]

My area of the us is also super natural and so theu dont like a lot of intervention. Here they won't see you unless something is wrong and since I've had two healthy pregnancies and babies I'm not a priority. Oh well trying to keep myself distracted lol.
