Have decided to go ahead with ttc even though we are in the process of moving house... as I can't carry on looking so gaunt and feeling so skinny
Anyways
Coming up to 12 weeks on diet, just finished period so will be doing e4d starting yesterday
Great
Being as strict as possible on LE diet now I know it's the lead up to ovulation
But we have two parties to go to, tomorrow and Sunday
Tomorrow is a big family roast dinner, with lamb... I don't know how I'm ganna get around it?
People probably think I have some sort of eating problem so will be watching what I eat!
The Sunday party is a buffet so that should be easier to pick the better foods
But I'm worried a meal with meat and high fat potatoes will ruin my sway? X

One meal is not going to ruin your sway! Girl moms aren't all vegetarians. lol It's also okay to have a cheat now and again, especially being on diet so long. Don't get too strict with diet around ovulation otherwise ovulation may get delayed. Good luck!!!

PLEASE you guys, do NOT be "as strict as possible" coming into ovulation. There is NO benefit to this, we know there isn't because we got dreadful results with 2-4 weeks on diet even though all those people were super strict. 12 weeks or longer got better results even though most were much more relaxed by that point.
The problem with getting strict at the last minute is that you do nothing to help your sway, but you DO make your body "nervous" and then it will delay or even stop ovulating. You're robbing it of the raw materials it needs right at the last minute and it will not ovulate if it "thinks" that you don't have enough food coming in.
Cheating is not only allowed but encouraged for situations exactly like this. The benefits are many: It relieves you of the stress and tension of having to go and bluff and lie your way through (this kind of thing very likely sways blue a heck of a lot more than a piece of lamb anyway), it helps you mentally to be able to have things you want on occasion, and additionally (and in this situation most important) it gives your body a chance at nutrients it may be low in. This can actually help prevent delayed ovulation!!
Potatoes DO NOT SWAY BLUE. Say it with me. Potatoes. Do. Not. Sway. Blue. The only reason why things like potatoes and tomatoes were ever said to sway blue was because of potassium. On the French and Ingender Diets, they are ingesting tons and tons of dairy foods which are loaded with potassium. In order to both have tons of dairy and also claim to be limiting potassium, they had to cut out all other potassium foods. These things were never studied and proven to do ANYTHING for swaying, it's all this silly stupid mineral balancing idea that originated in sea animals that do not even reproduce in the same way humans do. It doesn't work, and you can tell it doesn't work because in places that exist primarily with potatoes as their primary calorie source like Ireland and Peru - they still had 50-50 boys and girls! On LE Diet, we are not doing the tons of dairy and we actually have a hard time getting enough potassium, so you guys actually need to continue eating them just for your overall health since potassium is one food your body does not store well and you need to get 2500 mg a day for your body to function. My daughter is like 30% potato. Trust me, it is fine to go and load up on potatoes and ahve a small piece of lamb.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
