Just checking in as it's been a while! My pregnancy is going well but we've had a family crisis. My SIL was just diagnosed with a rare leukemia. She's only 40 and it's been completely emotionally exhausting for everyone. We are all sick with anguish watching her endure this horrible chemo and the reality that she will possibly not live through this. But we are trying to remain positive and take it a day at a time.

As far as the pregnancies go, ahorn have you tried a maternity belt? It has saved me both pregnancies!
And Naan, when is your follow up US for Doppler flow? I'll be thinking of you.
Hope all is well with the rest of our group, and those still struggling with GD are doing as well as possible.

Nann keep us updated on baby, that sounds so stressful!

Wantanother, I'm sorry to hear about your SIL. My FIL was diagnosed with leukemia while I was pregnant with DS2 and it was really hard on my DH.

Fox, wow what timing of this post...my FIL was just diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia 2 days ago. He's already started aggressive chemo. My heart is broken. My poor DH and my poor kiddos. They adore him. Do you mind me asking the type of leukemia and the outcome so far?
Sorry I've been MIA. Thinking about you all and catch-up on your posts often. Xoxo

So sorry Roe. It's so hard to process something so emotionally taxing during pregnancy when our emotions are already heightened. It has certainly taken most of my energy to deal with the feelings of sadness and pain for my SIL, and my poor bother.

I hope your FIL's treatment is going as well as can be expected. So far my SIL has endured absolute hell and it's only been 60 days since her diagnosis. She is currently on the AML chemo treatment as well since the ALL one wasn't effective. [emoji17]

I am feeling ok. Still itchy hands and feet. It is getting a bit worse, but my bile acid levels actually went down. :/ So confused. Not that I want to have anything wrong, but I also want some relieve from the itching. It is not all the time, but still super annoying.
At my last appointment, I was measuring 4 weeks ahead (again), so I had another u/s last Monday. Baby was measuring 1 week ahead, but the baby's abdomen was in the 89%, so it was a bit disturbing. The Dr was not too concerned, but I may end up with another u/s to check on baby. I have my glucose test on the 28th and I have a sneaking suspicion I will not pass. We shall see. My fluid levels were high, but still within range.
Other than that I am chugging along. Always tired, but happy to be in the 3rd tri!!!

On another note - has anyone ever had feeling that their pregnancy will end in a still birth. I know how morbid and horrible this sounds. I have had this nagging feeling that something is going to go wrong right in the end. I have never felt like this before. It is really quite upsetting. But even more upsetting is that I have a calm set over me that this will happen, but it will be ok. I may not have described that correctly, but I am disturbed that I feel there is a problem and that I am at peace with it.
Does that make any sense at all? This pregnancy has been really weird for me this time. And I still cannot get anything ready for the baby (no motivation) and no name.
