So I've been on a relaxed girl diet for about two months now. This past week I've gotten way more strict about it... but trying to still be somewhat relaxed so I don't stress too much. I've never had acne in my life. Maybe a small pimple here or there. This past week my chin and jaw have been covered in white heads! What gives?! I've read that high testosterone will cause acne. Should I wait to dtd until my acne clears?
Currently on the Metamucil and rephresh program. I also had a question about the antihistamine. My sway wasnt quite clear on how or when to take them. Could someone tell me more about those?

Also my ph has been between 4-5.25. Not sure if that's relevant. The day I use rephresh it's very low but the third day out it gets higher. Should I be using it more often?

This area of acne can be related to diet change , lack of hydration , gut flora inmbalance also especially if you are eating more 'white' foods I call them .. Eg pasta ,bread, rice etc. these simple carbs are processed into sugars which can cause the gut imbalance, slower digestion, candida etc . Increase in fruit or even dairy can do this also. It depends what your diet was like before. Were you eating fairly different before?

I've always ate loads of pasta and rice, but never daisy and I've been drinking a lot of low fat milk and yogurt lately. Do you think that's it? So this would be unrelated to testosterone levels?

I'm in month #2 of TTC and have been on sway diet for almost 5 months and for the first several months my acne (I've always had acne, since I was a teenager) cleared up so much and I barely got any zits at all (still had white/blackheads but don't think those will ever go away!). Then this past month I've had some breakouts again. I was a little stressed about it too thinking my testosterone had gone up, but I'm exercising a lot, it's summer, my skin is drier, I haven't been as good about drinking water lately, etc. etc..... So really who knows what's been causing it & it's probably all kinds of things. I've read that it's really more the jawline/neck & cystic acne (the big, deep bumps!) that is caused by testosterone. I've actually had both cystic and jawline/neck acne at various points of my life and I do believe those were testosterone and possibly insulin resistance-related but that kind of acne is very different from what I have now and what it sounds like you have. I think making a lot of big diet changes can cause all kinds of things to be affected and maybe for you the fact that you haven't had acne and now you do is just your body's response to all the changes. I wouldn't stress about it too much!!

Well it's hard to say really as I don't know what else your doing with supps, if your having fake sugars eg aspartame , drinking soda or more tea/coffee... Can be any combination of things. Dairy causes problems for a lot of people but if your only having a bit of light milk and yogurt this shouldn't be the cause(unless your having a lot and they contain a lot of sugar ... Low fat store bought products amp up the sugar content for some reason.

I left them out of your sway because you only have 3 months to get pregnant and they haven't worked anyway.
