A few questions as I plan "my pink sway":
1. For the LE diet, if I already drink quite a bit of coffee (and wine) and conceived 2 boys doing this, would it be wise to avoid coffee and alcohol to do something different ?
2. Supplements- I am so confused about what is necessary/ best to take for me and DH. I don't want to start buying out the pharmacy so what is the most important for a pink sway?
3. Timing- we aren't going to attempt until the new year so I have lots of time to figure it out but for now I'm just trying to figure out Cycle and when I ovulate. I got pregnant really easily both times so have never had to figure it out before. Should I buy a thermometer and start taking my temp? Or buy those ovulation sticks ? I think I need a cycle planning for dummies book.

You don't have to do everything different. Other things may have swayed boy for you. Besides, alcohol and coffee have gotten great results for girl sways that I think it's best to keep it. Usually for supplements all you need is folate or folic acid. Atomic can advise you on ones for DH because it can vary.
If you don't know when you ovulate, you can just BD every four days. It's less frustrating and you know you're covered even if you ovulate late. If you really want to use OPKs, it's best to do temping with it because otherwise you won't know for sure you ovulated. In that case you'd just have one attempt at pos OPK.'12

1)No. Whatever reason you got boys before, it wasn't those two things. Instead of "doing the opposite" just do what has worked for most people most of the time. I have seen SO many people outwit themselves thinking they have to change everything, only to end up doing things that only sway more blue for them. It is entirely possible that you conceived your boys and were (imaginary numbers to illustrate a point) going from 80% likely to have boys, to 55% likely due to the coffee and alcohol. That is a huge sway, but you could still have been potentially more than 50-50 set for boys due to other factors. It would be silly to give up things that are swaying pink!! Just change the things that were swaying blue for you and keep the things that were swaying pink in the first place!
2)I can't tell anyone what supplements to take without a custom plan since they vary due to age, medical need, etc. Everyone should start off taking fiber and folic acid or folate though. If you give me the ones you are considering and a little more to go on I can tell you if they're ok for you or not.

Tracking your cycle for months on end has not seemed to help because many people end up finding that sway diets and supplements can dramatically change their cycles. So it's ok to start temping and stuff if you want to, but just don't rely on the schedule staying the same over the months!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
