Mommaxo3- I'm having them and am only 17.5 weeks, feel like they started last week. I thought it was early too. I don't worry though bc unfortunately I don't go into labor, don't dilate, etc. so not sure why I have these as a tease!

Shan, I feel your pain...I'm about to be 36 and I feel like a grandma on here!
So wish I could have done this all earlier, I feel like we are getting too old for this also. I run out of energy so much quicker than I did when I was in my 20's.
Augh ladies I'm feeling so down about this hematoma. Reading on google about it does NOT make it any better - lots of stories of women going into preterm labor in their 20th weeks, having placenta previa, losing babies in utero, and stories that just break your heart...and supposedly the risk is still there even after the hematoma resolves! I am such an active person and the bed rest is just painful for me, combined with hormones, it's a bad mixture. I was so good up until this week, it's really taking a toll on me. I just want to have a normal pregnancy and be with my girls, but had to hire someone 5 days a week to help me in the afternoon's driving them to their activities since DH is at work. I feel like I'm missing out on so much, but at the same token, I can't risk moving around. Nothing that can be done, just venting....

Shannshaff I'm 39! And feel every year of it too [emoji23] however my mind (and maturity heehee) still feels like I'm 18 [emoji6]
Bluebooties cant wait for scan coming up! Feels like its taken forever! Are you still going to get gender put in an envelope?
The comment about my belly actually didn't bother me but agree it is rude. I'm actually very proud of my baby belly and love it when it sticks out fully [emoji23] I also cant keep my hands off it!!!! I'm forever rubbing and prodding, poor baby is probably already saying 'stop!!' or as ds2 says when I give him too many kisses and cuddles 'that's enough mummy' [emoji23][emoji23]
Thanks for loving my gender reveal everyone! Seems I'm the only one irl that thinks its great too [emoji23] my hubby said 'don't build it up too much because anything can happen, someone could slip, you might see the gender at birth etc' [emoji30] yes husband I'm aware of that possibility........
Lola hope you are keeping safe. Update when you can [emoji173]

Yes Pbn3 i will still do the envelope for 2 reasons
1. DH won't be with me at scan he is working that day
2. I am afraid even if i am able to control my emotions they will somehow show and i don't want that. I would rather go through disappointment in private.

You know based on how atypical my new OB practice has been i wouldn't be surprised if they said the anomaly scan is for just that we don't disclose gender 🤣even DH was remarking the other day that he would probably see baby at birth based on how things are going with out OB's minimalistic sonogram approach. I get that its medically not necessary but as parents its the best part to look forward to prior to birth.
