Hey guys!
Wondering if slimfast protein powder shakes would be ok as a meal replacement 2x day on LE. E.g... lunch, snack and then eat dinner normally.
Atomic.. I'm not losing as much weight as I'd like. Need to up my game. Already switched to pcos diet and I only eat 3x day. Always under 50g protein and 25G-30G fat. My cals are usually around 1000-1300 most days.I am short so that's a healthy number to lose weight but I am not losing any.
Can I do the shakes instead if it falls into the limits?
Thanks ☺

I would be leery of those shakes since they are fortified with nutrients.

Not the shakes that are premade.. like the actual protein powder. I don't think they have the same nutrients do they?

When made with Fat Free Milk, the nutrition looks to be about the same. Are you thinking of making them with something other than milk?

I think considering you're not eating enough, fortified foods may be okay. Have you asked Atomic about your cal/fat/protein intake? I know she always says no one should ever go below 1200 cals or 25g fat, regardless of size. I'm not trying to be nosy, just concerned when I see someone isn't eating much.

Have you tried the PCOS version of LE? I know there are some people that can't lose weight with regular LE because it's so carb-y.

I have not lost weight on the LE diet either time I was on it.
It might be because I can't loose weight when BFing, but there are some of us that just have a hard time loosing weight.
