i wish there was an easy answer
but its just one day at a time, i really dont think there is much else you can do especially at the start
it is a long road and you have to do what it right for you and your family, are you being given options for delivery and seeing baby etc? i hope you arent being forced into anything.
have you ever seen Carlymarie Dudley and her site Project Heal? she is in Australia (perth i think) and set up the most amazing online support community with her husband Sam after they lost their baby boy, she is on facebook, instagram and also has a website, there is so much amazing support on there from people who have been through the same thing and understand.
Carly also does gorgeous beach artwork for parents who have lost babies/children if that is something you would want, we have one of her beach butterfly pics for our daughter.
thinking of you and your family and if there is anything i can do or questions i can answer or anything please dont hesitate to ask xxnow 6blue5pink

Bluedreaming, one step at the time, you need not pressure yourself with when you need to 'be over it' because frankly I think it is something that stays with you forever, more deeply ingrained, more discreet, as life takes over..but there nevertheless.
I hope the process can be as "easy" as possible for you, so you can heal your heart and soul.
4b2p, omg the artwork from Carly is vibrant..I love the butterfly pictures, there was one that stood out so much it gave me goosebumps and tears to my eyes.
I wish I had known about the network she has set up back when we lost our little one as early as it was still in the pregnancy still, I was a mess and felt so alone.
Big hugsBluedreaming

They are doing a d and c on Monday morning at 8am. 4blue2pink bub stopped growing at about 8 weeks so unfortunately won't be able to see it or anything. I was told I could go natural, medically which means tablets and clots get passed or surgically.
With two small children I couldn't let them see me go through it medically seeing I would be at home.
They did say they would do what they could to find out the gender for me as I said it would help me a lot with the grieving process.
No I haven't heard her will have a look on fb. Thank You so much. I never thought I'd go through something like this

Bluedreaming you will get through this I promise. The grief and hurt is so raw at the moment but you will slowly heal. You will never forget but you will learn to live with it. Not right now, not even next week but at some stage in the future you will xxoo Allow your dh and your gorgeous girls to help you heal. Take as many hugs and kisses you can get from them [emoji173]

LMSM her work is gorgeous, i too felt very lonely and feel very lucky to have stumbled across her page within a few months of losing our daughter, she is an amazing lady, her husband is becoming more involved now and they have just released a project/film for bereaved fathers which is amazing as there is literally nothing out there for the dads
you dont have to be new to your loss to follow her page or projects or even just enjoy the artwork and stunning photo's she takes.
Bluedreaming i understand your decision to take the surgical route, i am so glad they are willing to try and find out the gender for you, i think that knowing will really help
its very early days to be throwing all this at you but just know that even though you cant see baby due to the gestation as you explained above there are still so many things you can do to create a place for this little one if thats what feels right for you, as LMSM said no one thing is right for everyone and there is no time limit on grief xx

Thank You 4blue2pink.
We are thinking of doing something special (once and if we find out the gender) not sure yet though. We will definitely pick a name. I hope that's not silly.
I hate feeling so alone in all this, yes hubby has cried and hugged me lots it just doesn't change that feeling. Sorry for going on and on
