    Congrats, TeacherMom!!!!!

Has anyone done the hormone tests that you do before & after ovulation (LH, estrogen, FSH, etc)? I did the Day 3 test on Friday and am on CD 7 today. I thought my doc told me initially that I was supposed to have the 2nd test done on CD 7 or 8 but I haven't heard from him - he was out of the office when I went in for my Day 3 test on Friday and he hasn't called w/ the results of that one yet. I'll call the office tomorrow but I'm kinda panicking that I was supposed to go in today, or maybe tomorrow, for another test.

I get my levels checked every cycle.
I get cd10, cd12 and day before ovulation.
I get told my estrogen level and LH serge numbers etc. I get ultrasounds to confirm uterine lining thickness and follicale sizes.
What exactly do you want to know?
My clinic does those days of testing when monitoring a cycle with ultrasounds.

Abc I had cd3 and cd21 tests done. Cd21 because I ovulated between cd13-14 consistently. The blood test on cd21 is meant to be approx 7 days after ovulation so if you usually o later than this you may need to get the blood draw done later. Eg. If you o on cd18 then you'd go in cd25. I don't know what the cd7 or 8 test would be for sorry?

Ok my doctor called and I got more clarity. My CD3 tests - estradiol, FSH, and AMA (ovarian reserve?) were all normal. He wants me to do an ultrasound on Friday (CD10) to check follicle/cyst I guess. I normally ovulate day 13/14 (w/ 24 day cycle) so he's going to have me come in a week after ovulation (based on whenever I get a positive OPK.

So - It's good my tests are normal but I wonder if that makes my prospects of getting Clomid more bleak. I know I have a short LP so there's still that - we'll see I guess! If I have to wait out this cycle/not ttc b/c of these tests and then up not getting Clomid next cycle I'm not going to be super happy about that!!

Glad its all cleared up abc! Maybe you can make a decision when you get your ultrasound as to whether you'll attempt this cycle or not. I'd actually ring back and ask him if everything looks normal on the u/s does he plan to try and extend your lp somehow and see if he mentions clomid? If he does then continue to hold off this cycle and if he doesn't then you at least have the option of getting an attempt in.....

My fsh was high and amh very low indicating low ovarian reserve which is why I was given clomid originally.

Robin that's what we're hoping for Abc. It seems to be the first port of call for most obs to treat unexplained infertility and/or losses [emoji848] so fx that's what will happen!

My amh was over 4 - I think he said 4.4 or 4.8. When I looked it up just now it said over 4 may be PCOS. Should I suspect this? I have a few signs of insulin resistance (mainly acne and i struggle a bit with weight), which is why atomic told me to do PCOS LE. But super regular cycles and not really any other signs of it.

Abc you need to make sure you're looking at the right measurement. There are two ways to measure I believe. Mine was 1.8 which was very low considering anything between 14 and 28 (something like that, don't quote me on it) was considered normal. Yours sounds like its been measured the other way possibly?
