I think he said that an AMH under 1-something is considered low - that you have a low egg reserve - and he sounded surprised that mine is over 4 b/c he made it sound like that is on the higher end of things. When looking it up it looks like in my age group, it usually is between 2-3.5. I guess the higher the number, the better the egg reserve but the more likely you have PCOS b/c there are more follicles/cysts, or something. Pbn - I'm wondering if you're talking about pmol/L measurement rather than ng/dL - the latter maybe is what the US uses and the former Australia? B/c if so that 14-28 normal range seems to be right for pmol/L.

Ugh - now I'm sort of stressing that I DO have PCOS. Never been tested for it or diagnosed with it since I've had normal/regular periods & have been very fertile, but it would explain the acne (including neck/jawline) & the fact that I have 2 boys!

I bet you're right with the measurements description abc! I knew there was two ways to measure but its been nearly two years since I was tested so I couldn't remember exactly. I did remember my result though because I was gutted at the time. I thought PCOS is something that can be diagnosed via blood test? Can you inquire about it maybe? And don't stress about it! Especially if you're ovulating. A lady on here Purple has pcos and she had a baby girl after two boys (and long cycles as well) so its definately possible.

Pbn3 - yea I might ask him about the PCOS thing. I need to be a bit more bold about asking questions esp if it may lead to him giving me meds. He does still seem concerned that my LP is not long enough based on what I've told him so I'm kinda hoping that this cycle will confirm that to him and that will get him to prescribe Clomid - since atomic says that it's the gold standard treatment for short lp.

I need to get much more strict again too on the PCOS version of LE. I started out doing well on it but lately my intake of sugar/ sweets has crept up, even though I'm still in the fat/protein/cal limits. I'm really struggling to keep up the exercise too. Sigh. This process is not easy!!!

I'm sick again and was wondering if it's still ok to go ahead with attempts? I'm only cd7 and don't O until CD 14 or 15 usually. I don't feel as bad today so I'll be fine by then, but I know sickness is supposed to sway girl so not sure what to do!

BBB this far out from ovulation will bear no affect on conceiving so I'd make a start. Are you doing eod this cycle?

Has anyone done the hormone tests that you do before & after ovulation (LH, estrogen, FSH, etc)? I did the Day 3 test on Friday and am on CD 7 today. I thought my doc told me initially that I was supposed to have the 2nd test done on CD 7 or 8 but I haven't heard from him - he was out of the office when I went in for my Day 3 test on Friday and he hasn't called w/ the results of that one yet. I'll call the office tomorrow but I'm kinda panicking that I was supposed to go in today, or maybe tomorrow, for another test.

I just had to have them day 3?? I did do a day 21 progesterone test at a different time but nothing else! Not sure if that helps. (Sorry suddenly lots more posts come up now. They wouldn't give me clomid despite short LP because tests came back normal but others seemed to have been more lucky).

Another BFN today - gutted as boobs feel full and sore so had my hopes up. Even took the test apart in hope I saw a VERY faint line but just wishful thinking I think. Hubby has said if it doesn't happen this month, he feels it's meant to be and we should just move on with our 2 boys so really hoped this would be our month and our sign from the stars we were meant to have 3 children but I guess it is our sign that we weren't x
