Robin, just popping in to say having an IUI doesn't necessarily mean your sway is ruined. A couple years back I was on the TTC boards with another lady that was swaying blue but needed IUI to conceive and she had a girl! So obviously IUI doesn't always equal boy. I think you still have a good chance at pink again after swaying for so long plus you know you can conceive girls! Good luck to you.

Sweetie with all you have endured, it’s completely understandable! Do what you have to do, and know we will always be here for you! I have never stopped praying for you, and I have added you to my Rosary group at church.

Hey Pbn! I'm ok - just feeling impatient with this testing stuff, waiting to see what doc will do and if I'll get Clomid, and waiting to start trying again. Bleh
I did the bw yesterday (Friday) afternoon so I may not find out Monday, hopefully Tuesday. My guess is the doc will call me and say that my progesterone is low and we should try progesterone supplements, and then I'll explain to him again that I didn't ovulate until Tuesday, and then we'll see what he says and if he wants to do another blood draw.
I'm trying to brainstorm what my response will be if he doesn't offer Clomid - what is the best reasoning I can offer for why I want to try Clomid? I mean I know it's a treatment for short LP but I just feel like I need to have a response ready for why I'd rather go the Clomid route instead of progesterone. I don't want to sound like I've been playing Google doctor too much.
How are you feeling??20132015

Robin - I'm sorry... I too felt SO positive about this cycle for you!!! Take all the time you need - I'm sure even if you have to have an IUI you can still conceive another girl, especially with all the other sway tactics you are doing. Big hugs!! We're here whenever you need!

Abc I wouldn't try and think of a response just yet for when he rings... you may come across as too eager for clomid which may put him off [emoji53] however nothing to stop you from ringing a couple days after his call and say you're not satisfied and want to go into next cycle all guns blazing?? I think though better to just wait for now and see what your results are and whether you get bw 7 days after temp rise as well, and see what his recommendation is first, as he very well may prescribe the clomid.

Pbn - Ok, will try to hold off
I just feel like he's going to call and be like "oh, it's just your progesterone that is low so we'll just give you some extra". What do you think about just really reinforcing the point again when he calls that it seems to be taking a LONG time between +OPK and when I actually ovulate? He said he doesn't fully believe in temperature charting b/c a lot of factors can affect it - which I get is true, but I have very consistent pre-O and post-O temps w/ a very distinct shift, so I'd say I'm identifying ovulation right. I just wonder if subtly continuing to push my concerns that there is something not right w/ my actual ovulation (which I think there may really be) might sway him more towards Clomid.

Robin I'm so sorry you are feeling down but it's understandable. Was convinced this was your month. It seems we are all having problems in one way or another. Wish I had a magic wand to wave over us all x

Hello. I just have a question not sure if this is the right spot to ask. I stuffed my cycle, was trying to avoid pregnancy as just started properly swaying, but looked at my chart and I had a high opk reading on Thursday and dtd today which is Sunday. Would it be possible to get pregnant from this distance after a high read thurs? FYI I missed the 'peak' I think, tested 24 hrs after Thursday arvo (so Friday arvo) and it was faint line. Unlikely right ? Feeling worried as as much as I want to be preggy I'd only just hit 'go' on the swaying.

Frankie its definitely possible to ovulate a couple days after peak reading so while its a slim chance of conceiving on o day (if Sunday is in fact o day) there is still a small chance. Are you temping?
