I won't tell him until it is clearly a BFP or BFN. Although, he will probably start asking questions at some point.

It would be so fun to surprise DH with a BFP. "Ideas for telling DH I am pregnant" sounds like something new that can be googled

How did you tell your DH about your other BFP?
We will be on holiday on the Gold Coast next week, I'm telling my DH he can't expect AF to be joining us (which he will hate!) then if she does not I'm hoping he'll figure it out.[emoji23]. I really have no idea which way this will go though. I know we cut it fine with when I O'd.

Ugh I'm getting nowhere with my doctor. So frustrating. Maybe we should have just tried this cycle without Clomid - this feels like a waste of time.

And I know its hard but you had no idea he'd be this stubborn regarding clomid when many others would have already prescribed it [emoji53] also what if you had tried and fell pregnant only for him to have given it to you. You had to try, remember you wanted your best pink shot and clomid could have and still may be an option..... Big hugs xxxoo

No - I didn't get a chance to email him but I talked to him on the phone today. I said, I'm confident I ovulated last Tuesday (Oct 3rd - CD14) b/c I had symptoms of ovulation and a VERY, very clear temp shift on the following day - Wednesday - CD15. He said, well you got a +OPK on Sept. 29th (CD10), so you had to have ovulated earlier than last Tuesday, and, your progesterone came back at 10 on CD17 and if you were only 3dpo, you progesterone would not be that high. And I said well I normally get +OPK a few days before it looks like I actually O and I always see a major temp shift around CD14-15, so, that's when I think I'm ovulating. And he said, well, OPK tests are more accurate than temperature charts. And around and around we went.... So he said, again, call me on the first day of your next period and we'll talk about a couple of options. I said, I know my period will start on Friday or Saturday, I'm already starting to spot, and my LP will likely be 10 days. And so he said again, just call me after your period starts. I think we both may be getting slightly frustrated w/ each other

Here's another thing though: He mentioned again today that my follicle on ultrasound on CD10 (the day I got +OPK) was 17 mm. He said you normally will ovulate when follicle gets between 20-25 mm, and it grows 2 mm a day. So if mine was 17 mm on CD10, then clearly it seems possible that I didn't ovulate until a few days after that +OPK if my follicle grew to closer to 25 mm.

And - today I have had a few incidents of spotting and my temp is starting to drop. If I ovulated Oct 3rd, then I'm only 9 dpo and that doesn't seem ok that I'm spotting at 9 dpo. The spotting is minimal - but before I started swaying I never had spotting before AF.

Yea - I'm frustrated - and have had a looooooong day so far today Please excuse the venting!

Also - I want to read and respond to others here later tonight (WOW our ttw board has been active!) - but Robin and TP - Thinking about you both. This ttc stuff kinda sucks Big hugs to you!

Omg what a douche!!! Did you get a chance to say that to him about the follicle being 17mm on day of pos opk so how could you have ovulated the following day?? Or did you think of it after the phone call? I cannot believe he said opks are more accurate than temping!!! Are there any other obs you can see? Otherwise can you possibly ring him back and calmly say you feel that you aren't being taken seriously with your concerns and that you are losing confidence in yours and his ability to communicate? This may 'shock' him into being more open minded and helpful and if not then suggest to him that you think perhaps its best you see someone else.... maybe this will jump start him as a last resort.... How incredibly frustrating for you [emoji853] I really am stunned at how arrogant he's behaving [emoji46]

    Good evening everyone!

    Welcome Frankie!

I am going to have to go back and re-read everything to figure out what all is happening.. I went through it quickly on my phone when I posted earlier but my phone sucks so reading through everything is like pulling teeth.

ABC - I am so sorry to hear your doctor isn't being very helpful I don't have any advice for you but I will KMFX that he gets his act together and realizes what is happening and helps you out!

So to expand a little on my post earlier. I just started taking Zoloft... and I kept thinking that this lower back pain was possible pregnancy symptoms as well as some nausea. I had this moment of realization on my lunch break that it was totally the new meds I am taking. I decided to google the side effects and sure enough everything I am currently feeling is due to the meds! They make me feel like complete crap! HOWEVER I always forget that when I am pregnant I don't get symptoms before 6 weeks. So this is actually a good sign No symptoms of being pregnant or anything for that matter, aside from med side effects, is good. 2 more sleeps before I start the testing!

No actually he's the one who brought up the follicle on our call today. He had told me last week that it had measured at 17 mm and then he mentioned it again today and said the thing about it growing 2 mm per day and O happening when it's 20-25 mm.... So I didn't understand why he said that and also acted like I must have ovulated the day after +OPK. I get what he has said that there can be issues with temping in terms of temps being thrown off by different things, but my pattern is consistent and definitely clear enough to show when O is happening!!

I think my plan for when I call him on Monday morning (he's out tomorrow anyways) is to see if he makes any mention at all of Clomid, and if so I'm going to just ask him if I can have it. I want to see if it's one of the "options" he mentioned today. I'm wondering if he'll say, we'll lets have you keep trying a few more cycles and if you don't get pregnant we'll try Clomid - in which I'll just ask to have it now. If he makes no mention at all maybe I'll bring it up since he'd talked about it my last appt.

    Ugh. Annoying!

I felt this way when I got my first AF after my early m/c in August.... Mixed feelings... Happy my body had returned to normal, but sad that it was because my pregnancy didn't stick. Normal to feel that way I think!

Ok I'm trying to keep up... Who all do we have in the 2ww right now? BBB, Mommy2Apples (hi!! we've missed you on here!), Frankie, Momto3Girls? Am I missing anyone?

    Who is next to test?!!

TP and Robin - I know we all understand if you need to take a break from here. You both have been through so much. But know we're here for you whenever you need and whenever you want to vent! Seems like there have been so many BFN's and early m/c's on this board lately - it sucks!! Thinking about you both and really praying your sticky beans come soon!
