I’m still hoping that can happen with a boy that’s 6 & 8 years younger than his sisters.

Does anyone know who Emily Skye is? I follow her on Instagram and love her fitness tips. Anyway, she weight trains and eats a very “blue diet”. She announced today that she’s expecting a girl. Part of me is starting to wonder if it’s more chance/luck than sway?

Max - I was always skeptical and of course I am even more so now. I totally believe the Lord gives you what you need even if you don’t understand why [emoji175][emoji170] I do think the boy diet increased my fertility (and sex drive) and you know my husband only gave me 2 months to get preggo so for that I’ll be forever grateful. And grateful for this site for support.

Blue sorry no you didn't miss anything I just have negative blood type and dh is positive so I have to get rhogam at 28 weeks and they do it in l&d. It was my first time walking up there this pregnancy and it made me super emotional. Last time I'll go into labor, last time I'll snuggle my own sweet newborn [emoji24].
Dancing I read an article once that said Mother Nature keeps girl/boy ratio pretty even. There are more boys born on average but also males pass away sooner than women and overall aren't as healthy. But not sure why there are more girl swayers I had honestly never thought of it until the thoughts of #5 came about and I had never had any big gd either with my boys.
Pbn I feel the same like I'm just a good boy mom and honestly now that this pregnancy is coming to a close I'm scared to death to actually have a girl [emoji53]
Max I follow her on instagram! Love love her and that she is so real. And when I seen she was having a girl I was totally in shock also. It goes against everything on this site.
Blue I've never had a winter baby either and it is a bit scary now to me because we've all been so sick. But I'm a bit excited to be able to use all the warm fluffy blankets [emoji4]
Kat I recently went to a wedding shower and they asked the bride how many children they wanted. And she said two, a boy and a girl! I thought uhhh you have no idea lady [emoji23]

Dancing-I just prefer girls. My opinion is that they are easier even though I've never raised a boy. But I was pregnant along side my sister with my oldest and she had a boy and I had a girl so I couldn't help but notice the differences in raising one gender vs the other. Her son was a nightmare but it could've been the parenting but I know her daughter wasn't that bad. There's also so many countries that emphasize the importance of having boys that the girls are given away and such. I'll take them all, I don't mind. My family also is mostly girls and puts a lot of emphasis on having a boy and maybe it's just my natural rebellion to go against everyone to want a girl.

I hear everyone on the winter coming. It's so blustery today. I'm definitely going to need a winter coat to cover my belly this year. I have all winter babies but the year my oldest was born it was unseasonably warm and my youngest I wore a sweatshirt and an unzipped coat because she was early winter. But invest in those car seat covers ladies! I used mine every time we left the house because I was afraid of old man winter sucking my baby's breath away when the wind hit her face. Also the hospitals here don't let you put a coat or those winter sack things on them to leave. Mine wore a sweater and blanket because that was all they would allow.

Yes those winter prams snowsuits are considered unsafe by the pediatric association. So it will be sweaters blankets and carseat cover for me too. But last winters we had a couple of days of snow emergency imposed as roads were blocked. Hope it doesn't happen again.

Ash, I hope that you're feeling okay! My goodness....

Mommaxo3, I would generally agree with that about girls/boys. My friends who had boys at the same ages as my daughters were always full of more energy and still are. I'm NERVOUS about that!! I already feel like a tired, worn out mom and now we'll have a boy! I'm hoping that his sisters mellow him out, and that my DH is ready for some serious one on one boy time for some energy bursts lol!

I wanted to share something that happened on Friday that kind of stopped me in my tracks. I took the girls to the library after school on Friday and we were sitting there reading books together. I noticed this older lady fondly looking at them, but didn't think anything of it. After we finished, we went to check some books out and the lady approached me and said that she enjoyed watching the girls, their interactions together and with me, and that it brought her happiness. It took me kind of by surprise, but we started talking a bit more and it turns out that her daughter has had SEVEN failed IVF attempts and is still trying to conceive her first child at the age of 41. I'm glad my girls were there, because I swear it would have made me start hysterically crying right there and then. In my mind, I'm obsessing over having my first (healthy) son after being blessed with two daughters, and there are people in this world that not only don't have their desired gender, but don't have ANY children. It put everything into perspective for me and just made me so much more grateful for what I have. That's not to say that I'm still not mourning my third daughter, but it just made me refocus the situation and I'm positive that she was put right there and then for me to see that (I'm one of those that believes in fate). Just wanted to share for anyone else that can relate.

I spent some time this weekend with the girls walking around the mall and getting some baby things. We came across a store that had the Nuna Lite carseat. Have you guys seen that??? It was so lightweight as compared to the Peg Perego and Chicco carseats that I had, and I think it adapts to my stroller. I don't know anything about the safety or reviews, but curious if anyone had seen it before or knows anything about it?

Congrats mommy.... I just called back and I did pass!! YAY after failing the last two pregnancies and having to do the 3 hr I'm sooo happy because I just don't have the time for that. Posted on Facebook but I had to run into hobby lobby today for some last minute orders and I was browsing baby things [emoji4] and picked this up for the wall behind the crib! I am so excited to get it hung once we swap rooms
