Debating whether to sway for a DC4?

I swayed and got DD2, my third child.
Thought I was done and I’m now feeling broody again even though DD2 is only 7 months and I’m almost 40 years old.

I have a concern too, I had gestational diabetes with DC3 and may
even have had it for DC2 though I was not tested for that.

Can someone get diabetes as a result of gestational diabetes after pregnancy?
Or if you have GD And then diabetes is it because you were going to have that anyways?

I was tested for diabetes after pregnancy and was fine and I also controlled GD only with diet, but if pregnancy with GD can cause Diabetes then not sure I want another child due to the risks

Btw Atomic Sagebrush thank you for helping me conceive DD2,
My dream of having at least 2 girls is now a reality and I am so grateful for all your help...

You may be more likely to develop it in the future but that tendency is already there - it's the same tendency that causes you to get it in pregnancy may mean you're more likely to get it in the future.

I would just use the alternate diet if you do want to sway (the atomic fertility one) https://genderdreaming.com/forum/gen...rt-3-pcos.html

    Thanks a lot Atomic!!
Had a teething little baby today and I thought this is it for me,
My family is complete, funny how I can change my mind day to day.
Good to know how to go about it if I decide otherwise though, may feel differently tomorrow

Oh thank you Atomic, yes she’s fine! Two first teeth appeared 😉
    They do grow fast!
Have so many questions for next sway already, but my main one is about my age.
Thinking of TTC when DD2 is 15 months old (yes I’m trying to give birth on the same date if st all possible) and I will be 40.5 years old by then...
As an older mom, is there anything I can do to help new baby be healthy?
And Anything maybe that may not be worth adding to my sway as a precaution to ensure a healthy baby? That is my biggest need, to have a healthy baby and then the gender. DH will be 38.5 then

You may want to take folate instead of folic acid and increase it to 2000 mcg.

Some people take a prenatal 2-3 days a week but personally I think it's not necessary.

I got pregnant at 41.5 so I know it's possible!

Thank you Atomic! Does Follate acid sway blue or pink? Or does it not make a difference?
Think will skip prenatal just in case that may make my sway more blue...

I came across True Healthy Mama diet which I’m applying now (only a little, bit following this to the dot at all) but I thought of having this diet as my life style and then stop it three months before TTC so that I will do the PCOS pink diet then. Do you think this is OK? Have you heard of the Trim Healthy Msma diet? I get the feeling it is a boy friendly diet based on their diet “rules” and principles. I’m 8 kilos more than prepregnancy and it seemed the only way I can lose weight this time around ... especially as I was breastfeeding the first months and a strict diet was not an option as it restricted my milk supply ...
