    E4d or One attempt

Hi, i just had my AF on the 29/11.
Had a smiley using the opk on the 17/11.
Was just wondering if the length of luteal phase is too short?
Am thinking of trying to sway this cycle but have no idea if I shld go for E4d or one attempt . (Between am still breastfeeding but cycle is getting more regular now)
If I were to choose one attempt, prior to that one attempt shld dh be doing fr? Or if we were to bd, shld it be protected sex ?
and how often before that one attempt?
I’m Not in a hurry , hope to sway pink as much as I can.

    Sorry for the many questions.
    Thanks in advance!

Hi! It’s up to you. You can start out having your DH do FR (only if he’s younger than 35) and then have your attempt at your first positive opk. If you don’t get pregnant after a couple of months doing that, then you can move to having one attempt at your first positive opk. Most start out with having prior BDing with protection. After another couple of months of this, you can move onto BDing every 4 days (E4D). How this works is have unprotected BD from when AF ends until at least CD22, or all cycle long if you can. Make sure there are 3 full days in between your attempts. Ex. BD Monday, Friday, Tuesday, etc.

Thank you XXforhubby for your reply.
Thanks for being so detailed, therefore easy for me to follow .

My DH is 39 , so meaning no FR and abstain?
    So what should we do?

    Thanks in advance

I would either do one attempt at positive opk by having him release on his own every 2-4 days or with you unprotected. Do this for a few cycles and then move onto BDing E4D, if you don’t get a BFP.

39 year olds can do FR, not abstain, but it hasn't worked and may really cut odds of conception.

I agree that having him do regular release with one attempt is a great option.
