Hi Atomic,
Thanks for replying. I have gone through this pcos part 3 and i am following it. This month i will be going for follicular and IUI. My re has prescribed me femara with metformin, but i am planning to control PCOS with diet and exercise. I will get to know how my body is responding without medicines, but with exercise.

Hello! I even went more extreme towards ketogenic diet as it is said to greatly improve egg quality (google it!). One of the healthiest oils is actually coconut oil, it has allowed me to produce 66% healthy eggs at the age of 40! (4 out of 6)

Ketogenic diets are NOT GOOD for fertility, full stop.
I know the trend towards very low carb diets for IVF rounds but the study showed simply that sky high carb intake is bad for eggs, and NOT that keto diets are good for eggs. The best diets for success with IVF or for gettting pregnant naturally were higher than 25% protein and less than 40% carbs lke the Zone or South Beach. Slow carbs, not NO carbs.
I literally cringe every time I see anyone doing IVF rounds or TTC naturally doing a keto diet. There are forums full of Paleo women who stopped ovulating and ended up with all sorts of trouble after going very low carb.

Hi Atomic,
Thanks for guiding me. I am not following ketogenic diet, i am just trying to reduce my carbs which i found really difficult because i am a vegetarian. But i can see difference in me, i feel very light though i am eating after every two hours, but i controlled my portions. I am going for a follicular study on 9th and will update you on same.
