    PH question (men)

    Hi so i have tested a sample of DH sperm for PH levels, his is 8. this seems to have got more alkaline but thats beside point...
    what is optimum ph for sperm for DH? for a girl? thanks

    Semen has to be between a pH of 7-8 because otherwise it is harmful to sperm. Too high of a pH may indicate an infection. So don't worry about pH, it doesn't sway.

    It's normal for pH to fluctuate in the 7-8 range.

    pH has never been proven to sway and the reason why semen pH is what it is, is to keep sperm (both X and Y) alive. X sperm do NOT love low pH. NO sperm love low pH, it kills them.
