Verena I never went into early labour with my boys so I doubt I will this time but you never know! [emoji12] My Monday job is packing ny hospital bag for 'just in case' [emoji3]
Noemi the reason I asked about other unprotected bds was that its a good idea to do some even if its only during the 2ww to allow the body more familiarity with sperm. That's why e4d (whether cd6, 10, 14 etc or cd6, 9, 12 etc) is good because it still gives you one attempt but helps your body adjust to having sperm swimming around up there [emoji12]

How often does late ovulation happen? Like you get a positive opk and then don’t ovulate until over 48 hours.

Hi all [emoji112]
Pbn, I'm not sure tbh, my opks have gone negative but cervix is still high and open so unsure really. And still quite a bit of cm. hubby home tonight so may have another go. It's getting pretty close for you now!! So exciting!

Mwilson, I don't think that's ever happened to me so far but weirdly it might have happened this cycle because I'm not sure I've ovulated. Has that happened to you this time?

I have no idea. It’s just a fear I’ve had. About 2 days after ff put as o day I had a sharp pain and made me think what if ov was delayed. Today I’m crampy. I try not to over analyze but the dull cramps are throwing me off. Supposed to be 4 dpo today. We bd early and during what I thought was ov to cover bases but if I o’d late, then I may have missed. Just didn’t know if that was rare or not. I don’t temp so not sure.

Mwilson that is the norm for some people oing 48-72 hours after first pos opk. Can also happen randomly to someone with the most regular cycle. That's why its so important to keep bding that extra once or twice after planned attempt/s or until o confirmed by temps.
Mummy2boys that's great dh is going to be back so you can get another attempt in just in case!!

Hm well I guess we will add in tonight but I’d think it would be too late if I o’d yesterday and possibly today. I think if I am anything but typical I’m early but I guess there is always the chance of late.

Mwilson better to be covered for 'just in case' than not. How long is your cycle usually and what cd are you on?
