MFC - so sorry you passed your due date not pregnant. I was due April 29th and didn't get my bfp till June 1st. I had a good cry and snuggled with dd3. I hope your day was ok and the news is minor.
I had a memory card crap out too, luckily i only lost an afternoon at the park. I'm psychotic about downloading my pics now.

Iluv- congrats on the new nephew!! That is one big baby, what's his name? Holy crap you have big babies too! My biggest was 7lbs 4oz!

Lola- I'm ashamed to say after 5 ohw I had taken my fertility for granted until my m/c last year. I always knew i was very lucky but, and I know it's nothing compared to so many others, trying for 6 months definitely changed my perspective.

Flava- ita with Lola don't give up hope that you'll have a boy! I honestly never thought going into my u/s I would come out having heard blue. So what did Ruby say?!

Bec - I opk'd once a day around noon until it was much darker then I would take another one around 6. I never missed an egg this way and usually only used 2 extra tests each month. Are you temping too? I temped just long enough to figure out how long after the positive opk I o'd.

Ttc5- woohoo fx that egg drops tomorrow and you get your bfp!! I had a o-2 and o so I think you've got a great shot at blue! And yes I get my +opk in the late evening 6ish, I dtd the night of the + and my u/s dates line up perfectly with the day after that!

Well I had my 26wk appt yesterday, for the first time since the u/s I got to hear the heartbeat. Even though I feel tons of movement I still love that sound. The sent me to the lab for my gestational diabetes test with I'm actually a I nervous about. I don't really know anything about diabetes but my constant candy snacking for the last few days can't be good lol fx I don't fail and have to go back for the 3hr test. Anyway all looks good

Thankfully things weren't that bad but I know how I felt which isn't anything compared to what some people go through. Anyway I really hope things work out xx. There is a tiger land at Dreamworld, is that what you mean? We went to Dreamworld a few years ago but are doing the other theme parks this time- Seaworld, Wet N Wild and Movieworld again. We are just like little kids
Thanks, Bec, you rock! I am so glad you just needed Clomid maybe, yeah? It is devastating, especially when you are not rolling in cash and think, JEEZ, can't I just get preggo the free way?????? Why us? Eh, I guess that's life, right?

Well, I saw this show on the National Geographic channel about some awesome tiger haven in Gold Coast where these people hand-raised a gaggle of tigers and it looked so cool. My DD2 is absolutely obsessed with animals (giraffes in particular) and was all about it. I love theme parks, too! SeaWorld is so much fun!

For sure! But that sounds like a good plan, Bec.

I have to buy some more opks. I only have 3 left. I bought some more from ebay last week but they still haven't arrived, grr. So I'm only using one a day now. How often is everyone else checking?
Ok, just read on about your ewcm stopping today. Hey, it's probably still there, just maybe not as abundant? You may see it again if you poop, that always tells me what is really happening down below, lol.

I use cheapie Wondfo opks, I but a pack of 40 plus 10 hpts for $10 on Amazon.

So, yesterday, I got really excited then really bummed, and my DH was a big sweetpea and reminded me that we've made babies before and that we will also have a rich and wonderful life if we never have any because we have the girls. But I do hang very desperately onto the hope that we will conceive naturally and not have to worry about IVF.
I have total faith you guys will conceive again!

Oh we didn't go last night I tried to tell myself that IF I had of gone to bed say an hr earlier I would not have seen the recent opk and not known till morning anyway?...

Plus DH released 24 hours prior and I really wanted a 3-4 day abstainance but looks like it will only be 48 hrs.. is this enough?!!

Timing has been proven to NOT be a factor is swaying, and boys have been made in every timing pattern there is, so it just depends on what you think you and your DH can do, and what raises his sperm count the most. If you get a predictable pattern with your opks fading in and you are pretty confident that you know when you O after you get a +, then I *personally* think the best timing for high sperm count is every other day, so shoot for O-2 and then again on O day. (My doctor told me to dtd every other day, and that is the "prescribed" timing for best sperm count for guys with no sperm issues.) But you may choose to dtd every day, or do it right after you get a +opk and then again in 24 hours. Sorry if THIS is confusing, but point is you can really do what you like. Most women ovulate about 24 hours after their 1st +opk, so most try to at least dtd right around O time or right before it, so you should try to get at least one bd in (your "main one") about 12-18 hours after your 1st +opk. HTH!
Lola, so do you think we are ok to go tonight then with only a 48 hr abstainance?
    Fathers Day baby!
