After my daughter's stillbirth (no known cause) I tested positive for lupus anticoagulant. I have since tested negative several times. I also have fibromyalgia in case that's relevant.
My question is should I be taking folate instead of folic acid or does it matter? No doctor ever mentioned taking folate but from what I've read on this site it may be wise for me to switch to folate?
Thank you.

Take folate. When in any doubt, always take folate. It does matter. Anyone can take folate, folic acid may be harmful for some people/pregnancies, err on the side of caution and take the folate.
