We are two weeks away from our first attempt and we have just got back from a long weekend away where I completely abandoned the diet for 4 whole days! Feeling so guilty, but we had a nice time!
Thing is, we can’t afford to have more than two children therefore this really is our one and only shot at this as already have a son. So want to have the best sway possible. I have been vegan for just over 12 weeks now and have not slipped up once with that. Husband has been meat free for 3 weeks. Question is, do we still try in two weeks or wait until next month when we don’t go totally overboard on calories for 4 whole days so close to our attempt?

Go ahead and try. Four days off diet will not undo 12+ weeks on diet. If it could we'd only need to do the diet for a few days or a week to sway pink but we know that's not the case. For all we know, your body may have needed a cheat. Good luck!

No one can decide what you should do but you but I kept putting my sway off in order to get the 'perfect sway' and in the end I found it so much more difficult to stick to, ended up so desperate to get pregnant that my sway wasn't as good as it had been in the beginning and we had 2 attempts when my plan all along was only to have 1. I just wanted to be pregnant above everything after doing the sway for 9 months.
It sounds like you're doing brilliantly to me, a few days won't undo what you've done already.2 little cuties

Thank you for your replies. Hopefully I haven’t messed up as bad as I think. My fat and protein were still low but I went massively over on calories. I wouldn’t have felt so bad but I had also had a lot of cheats over Christmas so overall in the last month I have really failed.
I am just so desperate for our sway to work that I can see me keep wanting to put it off for “the perfect sway”! But like you say, it may just get worse! I also have a very short luteal phase so might take a while to conceive anyway!
Just finding that with our first attempt only round the corner now I am really nervous! And if it doesn’t work I will always think ‘ah we should have waited another month, had no cheats’ etc etc!

I always like to reassure the girl "cheaters" -- I was unintentionally swaying girl for months and months. Right around the time I conceived my DD, I had days where I ate more and drank more because we had a family reunion, some dates out on the town, etc. Still got a girl!

I know we talked about this already baby but I want you to have attempt.
