Abc that's a great compromise to j&d after 5 minutes with todays bd! Then wait and bd again at pos opk. Big thumbs up from me [emoji3]

I'm doing the E4D 72 hour version (Example: Monday/Thursday). I really like that one too bc I feel like it's so much less pressure on us... and we don't get as tired DTD as we were in the past-- like it's a job [emoji23]. Had we have been swaying back when we first got together, bding would be no problem and all the time, but with little kids running around sucking the life outta you, you have to make yourself go through the motions hahaha! That's for me anyways. I try to make light of year and a half journey

Thanks all for your feedback!!! I am soooooo indecisive... I had almost convinced myself not to BD tonight since we did on CD5 and right before AF started (so 2 unprotected times w/in the past two weeks), and I know another attempt is coming in a few days... But then I was thinking that on our CD5 attempt I got up fairly quickly after, since I knew it wasn't going to be viable, so maybe another attempt tonight wouldn't hurt. If we do it I think we will J&D soon after. Ahhhhh decisions I'm terrible at them!!!!!

What’s the worst that could happen ABC?

I debated on j & d or waiting until morning... every time I opt until morning. I use soft cups to keep everything in. I had asked atomic what was recommended and she said that it doesn't matter whichever one I feel comfortable to do was fine and that she conceived her DD without j & d

I'm doing ed4 every 96 hours version. My hubs sex drive is so low! And our son keeps blocking all of our current attempts. I'm like cmon, let mommy and daddy make another baby.

    January 2018 TTC & 2ww thread

ABC, imo a baby who’s time has come, much like the idea, will not be stopped.[emoji16]
Remember also there’s so many factors that contribute to your girl sway other than frequency of bd. Hope that helps.[emoji6]
We all know these things but for some reason when it gets nearer to o, I guess we realise just how much we want the bfp and begin doubting. Thank God for this forum.

Ps: thanks for the chuckle GSHGmama[emoji23]

    Thanks, Filzma.

Well we didn't attempt and I feel like it's the right thing... I know it sounds really weird but I think I may be one of those people who finds E4D more stressful than 1 attempt at +OPK!!! I've thought about switching to E4D before but then I find I stress about which day to start it, whether to do 2 or 3 days between, how many hours will have lapsed between attempts, and then I get stressy (like I was earlier today thinking about this) about what if we have an attempt and then I'll get my +OPK like a day later and not know when to attempt again (since my body is weird and takes awhile to O after +OPK). Anyways... I find OPKs (especially the digitals) slightly more relaxing because I know I'll get one at some point and then can we can have our attempt. We DTD unprotected on CD5 and a couple of days before AF so hopefully my body has had enough exposure to DH's sperm and wont fight it off! LOL. So much awkward BD talk on these boards

Obviously I know it's a little harder maybe getting pregnant w/ 1 attempt vs. E4D but in our case, our issue the past 6 months hasn't been getting pregnant it's been staying pregnant. I think after our 1 attempt, we'll keep BD-ing every 72 hours or so until O is confirmed.

Thanks for the help all, I love this board!! Really hoping that the end of January/early Feb is FULL of BFPs!!!

Abc if it makes you nervous to bd unprotected in lead up to o then you can stick to bding unprotected from o to af to get sperm exposure then only bd unprotected at your pos opk from af to o for your one attempt if that feels less stressful for you [emoji16]
