Thank you all for the warm welcome!

Wow, its amazing to hear all the girls that are due. Congrats to everyone who has found out the genders! I truly hope I hear boy! I am praying so hard. This will definitely be our last two. I am being sterilized after this. We live in South Africa and it's expensive here.

Ellirosanne, so nice to hear there is another mommy expecting twins! Are yours in one sac? We don't know the genders yet. I am going for a 4D scan on Wednesday to make sure everything is okay, hopefully will get a glimpse of the genders. But hubby and I will be finding out end of Feb.
I have to say, I am also struggling with shortness of breath! It's really bad sometimes.

Huge congrats to you all on your little girls! There certainly seems to be a lot of girls due july/Aug - makes me a bit nervous as I swayed blue!

I know a few of you work in the medical field and I'm hoping for some advice. All please feel free to weigh in too!
So I've spent the past 24 hours admitted to a main hospital with a suspected clot in my lung. Thankfully last night they confirmed I do not have a clot. But they cannot explain why I feel breathless and have to work for breath more often than not. The hosp suggested it could be baby pressing on diaphragm (doesn't that seem too early as I'm only 11 weeks?) Or pregnancy induced asthma. I never had this on my other pregnancies. Any ideas or has anyone ever had this?!
    Thanks in advance!

Blood volume increases quite a bit in pregnancy. It’s quite possible your body is not adjusting so well to the change. I get winded much more easily starting around mid first trimester and that has been what my doctor attributed it to.

I’m trying to decide if I should bother with an NIPT this time or just the regular screening blood work. I take Lovenox for a blood clotting disorder and it’s known to affect the accuracy of the results. I did an NIPT and the standard screen with my twin pregnancy and it missed the Y chromosomes of my boy twin. We’re still leaning team green, but figured if we did the NIPT we’d get the gender part done, just ask that we not be given that result for now. Then again, if the company says my medication affects the accuracy, should I even bother? It shouldn’t be this hard to make a decision on something so simple. LOL

TwinMom2: hope you hear boy also! ❤️

Bunnygirl it’s so expensive if it’s not going to give you accurate results I’d be afraid to get it done.

Dreamingrainbow- we don't have any friends or family close by and my mum&dad don't drive I'm thinking of getting the younger ones out of school a bit early but not sure what to do about dd2 (dd1 goes to school close to my parents so they pick her up)

Love the names girls baby clothes shopping is the best! (Except if you have to find neutral stuff, I hate that)

I actually have 2 or 3 bags of baby boy clothes put away, I think they must be about 13 years old!!! I just could never bear to part with them is that silly??

BBB, not silly at all! lol I have no room for all kinds of clothes otherwise I would’ve held on to mine as well. My sister has the little boy clothes from my boys for her baby boy. Thankful for my church ladies as they have a ton of baby girl clothes. One of them gave me clothes 0-3 months and up. A lot are new with tags still.

I suppose I always thought I'd get to use them 'next time' but never did. My dd1 is almost 14 so I've been waiting a while!

Oh no that's a pity about the timing of scan. Could a friend collect your children so dh could attend?
When will you have your next scan after that?

We got our harmony results on Friday but decided against finding out for now. It'll be in my chart so we can check at any time but I do enjoy the guessing!

I'm really praying hard for the boy swayers!! We need some blue on this forum :-) I think I know where I went wrong with my sway compared to the sway when I actually got a boy. Good luck ladies!
