Is there any point swaying with PCOS?

Have read a few posts on here that say PCOS sways blue unless you’re on meds. I have PCOS but am not on medication so am wondering if there’s any point in swaying? From what I’ve read it looks like all the Pcosers who had girls were on Clomid or something similar and nobody seems to have had a successful girl sway with untreated or diet managed PCOS. Is it time to give up?

    Hi!

I am one of the PCOSers who used Clomid, but I just wanted to add my 2cents that it's not time to give up. If you are having conceiving, you could drop all of the things that make conception harder, but still keep a few things that sway girl and help conception like:
    1. Lower calorie diet (assuming you are not underweight)
    2. Aerobic exercise (just not extreme like running a marathon)
Also there is skipping breakfast and eating vegetarian which sway girl and I don't think affect conception.

    Good luck!

Thanks! Haven’t tried to conceive yet and am just doing the diet but started to feel a bit down about it, like the odds are so low because of the pcos

Please don't give up! You can definitely still have a girl despite having PCOS. There definitely are pink swayers here who have PCOS and got girls without meds (look at the stats sheet, I counted about a dozen ladies). You also have to keep in mind that there haven't been a lot of PCOS swayers here to begin with so the sample size is small. A lady in my mommy group has three girls and she has PCOS. None of her girls were conceived with meds. I know of another mom that also has PCOS and three girls. One was conceived with Clomid but the other two were not.

While PCOS does seem to sway blue, there are ways to manage it without meds. The PCOS version of LE is great for pink and Atomic thinks it may actually be even better than standard LE for pink. Also exercise is great for PCOS ladies, even a moderate amount so if you can squeeze that into your day then that will only help your odds for pink.

??? Give me some links on that, please.

We actually have several PCOSers who have all girls and are swaying blue, and some who chose not to sway and got girls anyway (not sure these gals are active any more but I know they're out there.

We have outstanding results with nothing but diet and exercise for PCOS.

I do think it's better than the standard diet and I'd have everyone on it but it makes weight fly off of people and anyone who doesn't have PCO will lose tons and tons of weight on it and will stop ovulating.

I'm curious, what do you think it is about the PCOS diet that speeds up weightloss so much, even for ladies without PCOS? Is it because it's fewer carbs than regular LE?
