Wondering do betas only get done outside the uk? I’ve nevee been offered them or know anyone that has.

Not sure. I wasn't offered last time. Not until we were wondering if I was miscarrying last week with the bleeding. I was actually surprised they did at all.

Agreed HGmama all babies grow differently and shouldn’t compare. As long as numbers are doubling that’s what matters most in beginning.

I'm freaking out that mine might be too high, like multiples too high... trying to calm myself down. Found another chart that was more reassuring.
Let's all stop worrying about betas. I saw some people on the chart have single digits and had normal babies.

I've had two miscarriages in the past 6 months where I had low beta numbers, so you can understand why I'm more paranoid about the numbers - especially with them still not being real high now.

Girlsway I had betas done with my boys but ONLY because my husband wanted me to get them for reassurance. They are not routinely done, I didn’t have any done this time (husband has calmed down a little after 3 pregnancies [emoji23]).

Hello, this is my first time posting and I am currently 3DPO and in the 2WW.

I have been charting my BBT but it seems to be all over the place and very low (35.95 the day before ovulation and then between 36.05 and 36.19 after ovulation). Is is generally between 36.00 and 36.05.
My question is, for those mums that are still getting up to other children in the middle of the night and the time that I wake is all over the place as well, can you trust your BBT temps?
I am taking them before I get out of bed and after 4 hours of solid sleep, but they seem lower than what they did when I was testing for DS2. Some days I am testing about 6 hours sleep, others after 4, and I get out of bed anywhere between 5.30 and 7 each day.

I just wasn’t sure if perhaps the OPK appears to have given a false positive result, or if I can’t rely on my BBT based on the other factors mentioned above. There is a slight pattern, but definitely not as clear as other people! I will add that this is my first month trying to conceive and I didn’t temp for this whole cycle.

Hello all. I had an attempt yesterday but with a fade in unclear wondfo OPK. I am going to keep tracking and may have another attempt. This is my first attempt this sway, and it feels like a long shot. How many days post ovulation did you keep checking? TTC girl.

Anicole going by your temps I would lean towards cd21 being o day. Oing up to 48 hours after pos opk is very common and completely normal. Taking your bbt after 4-6 hours is perfectly fine especially if doing so consistently. I wouldn't doubt your temps as restless/little sleep would falsely elevate your temp, not lower it. Open mouth breathing can cause falsely lower temps if temping orally. If your temping vaginally then I would consider them quite accurate. Some people simply dont experience a clear cut change in temps, but its more about a sustained clear shift than how high the shift is. Low temps can also indicate low progesterone but I wouldn't jump to ths conclusion this clise to o.
