Try to keep busy this weekend it’ll fly by!
Holy hell my nausea is bad! Anyone have any tips to help it? I remeber wearing sickness bands on my wrists before but can’t recall them helping much!

Girlsway I like drinking ginger ale for nausea. I've seen a bunch of products lately at the store for morning sickness - "Preggie Pops", "Preggie Drops", teas for pregnancy nausea, etc. Not sure if you have those in the UK. And I haven't tried them - since I have no reason to at the moment! - so I don't know how well they work!

Hi everyone x
Girlsway I noticed in Tesco yesterday they are selling the sickness bands, a little aromatherapy roll on for pulse points and some ginger with folic acid in. They were along with the breast pads etcMummy to

Thank you both! I actually bought some ginger ale the other day and gagged because it reminded me of feeling sick last time (irony!!) it’s annoying because I remeber it helped before! I’ve been nibbling ginger biscuits, oh the calories!!!!

Girlsway none of the at home remedies ever worked for me (wrist bands, ginger, crackers, etc). But diclegis was a lifesaver and it’s very safe. I felt like a human again after taking it.

I don't think diclegis is licenced in the UK? I agree tho that all the ginger etc is a pile of poo and doesn't work lol
The only thing that helped me (slightly) was lemon squeezed into water.Mummy to

I'm pretty sure Diclegis is literally vitamin B6 & Unisom, right? If you can't get the Diclegis maybe you can get those two things separately - both are considered safe. I used Diglegis in my last pregnancy but didn't find that it helped me much. It is the one medicine considered totally safe though. I've heard magnesium can help too (especially if you're low in it, which a lot of people are, plus you've been dieting!). With DS2 my only cure for nausea was to keep eating LOL - I was nauseated whenever I was hungry but unfortunately I was ALWAYS hungry in those initial weeks, thus always nauseated!!
I'm jealous of your nausea/feeling horrible, girlswayLast edited by ABC.2606; February 24th, 2018 at 07:49 PM.

ABC it is just those two things. I found that buying them separately for some reason didn’t work as well as the prescription (probably due to it being extended release). I’m sorry it didn’t help you, that sucks. Phenergan usually works well but makes people so tired they can’t function. You just can’t win with pregnancy nausea.

Don’t be abc! I jinxed myself! Enjoy whatever non gross feeling time you have left lol!
Also can’t win because once I got the nausea I convinced myself it’s another boy even though there’s no logic in it, maybe best to prepare myself!?2014
