So Hubby and I decided to put off trying for a bit while I gain weight so I'm within healthy range since I still haven't even breached 100lbs. Now I've decided to start charting (hoping it'll give me a much better chance when we try again in October because I want a July baby).
My question is, when should I be taking my temperature if I don't sleep at the same time or wake at the same time every day?
A month ago I was waking early morning and sleeping early evening (when I was working). Then I started waking in the afternoon and going to sleep around 2am. Now I've been waking in the late evening (today I woke at 9pm) and going to sleep after watching movies all night (it's now 5am and I'm still awake). I have depression and an unidentifiable illness (doctors have been no help) that makes me so dang sleepy and sick sometimes. Last month after losing my job I had vomiting and diarrhea that landed me in the hospital again (this has been ongoing since I was a senior in high school, once I went 2 years without incident and once it reoccurred at least once a month for a year with me ending up almost dying of severe dehydration the week of my birthday (my husband found me unconscious on the bathroom floor), so I never know when it will happen or why).
Also I think I have what's considered irregular periods. For example my Ovia app says my 2017 period calendar goes like this (this doesn't include days that I have spotting which can be before and after the main period:
January (Dec 30 - Jan 2)
February (Feb 1 - 4)
March (Feb 28 - Mar 3)
April (Apr 3 - 5)
May (May 6 - 8)
June (Jun 8 - 10)
July (Jul 9 - 12)
August (Aug 8 - 11)
September (Sep 12 - 16)
October (Oct 15 - 17)
November (Nov 20 - 23)
December (Dec 20 - 22)
So far this year 2018:
Jan (Jan 19 - 21)
Feb (Feb 18 - 21)
So as you can see it's all over the place. How am I supposed to know when I ovulate? Will the BBT help?
In the near future I plan on making a more rigid schedule of sleep/wake times so it should be easier to track I hope. I plan on setting my schedule where I wake at 6am every day and go to sleep at 10pm. That's what everyone normal does right?

I've been looking into ways to gain weight and I've seen girls using Apetamin and eating every 2-3 hours. So I'm going to try that as well as going to the gym to exercise a couple times a week since it's supposed to be healthier. Plus I'm going to work on sculpting my body the way I've always wanted and I heard it's easier to bounce back after a baby if you're already fit. I've never been fit so I figured I better fix that now which I still can lol. Hopefully this will help me get to a healthy weight and help me feel better about my body. I'm not like other girls out here that would dare call themselves fat (when they're not even in the 17% bmi) but I hate my pooch, flat butt and small not so perky anymore breasts (looking in the mirror these days makes me want to cry). So I'm hoping I can both be healthy and feel beautiful again.
I apologize for the weird rant, I know this is supposed to be about the BBT, I just a little sidetracked.

The first thing I want you to do is start having regular unprotected sex every 4 days (so like Monday and Thursday even though it doesn't have to be those days specifically) REmember, people got pregnant for many moons without ever knowing when O happened or even if it did.
Just pick a time of day when you are normally not eating and always temp at that same time. It won't be as reliable as temping in the morning but many people can still see a pattern emerge.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I've had all sorts of testing done and nothing ever comes up. Though they did tell me recently my blood sugar was unusually high for someone who had diarrhea and vomiting. When I did my own research I found another person who had the EXACT same symptoms (including spouse finding them passed out on the bathroom floor) here: https://nfb.org/images/nfb/publicati...vodsum0805.htm

The reason I ask is because I had been mysteriously ill (not as severely as you, but my stomach was definitely affected) off and on for 15 years and while they'd tested me for lots of things they never tested me for autoimmune diseases even though many women have them. They just tend to chalk everything up to women having anxiety or eating disorders (which I suspect given your weight you've been through the wringer with them on that.) But I had Sjogren's Syndrome the entire time and there are other things like lupus that can affect you in weird ways - autoimmune disease doesn't always affect everyone in the classic way and some of us are just unfortunate enough to not have the classic symptoms while still being really sick. Gastroparesis can be caused by autoimmune diseases. There's a very easy blood test they can do that will test for several autoimmune disorders and if they haven't done that on you, I do recommend it. It won't detect all cases but it is definitely something that needs to be checked off the to-do list.
