    LE diet...

Hey guys, DH and I are taking a break after this month (if it’s not our month). I’ve been loosely following the LE diet but am wondering at what point can you relax on the diet a bit? After BDING, ovulation or continue until period. We’ve done our attempt and I’m due to ovulate tomorrow, so just curious how much longer to continue.

    TIA X

I think its best to carry on through to BFP or AF so you keep the environment safe to what your swaying for. Odd cheat day is fine
I dont know if its true but last time I got preg, i continue drinking ful fat coke and junk im my tww which then ended in miscarriage and now think that i didnt continue a diet in the wait and lost my chances. It may have nothing to do with it but i wont do that again!

Well you don't want to do two weeks on, two weeks off or anything like that. Cheat days are totally allowed though and I'd say AF is probably a good time to do that as many of us get cravings then. Lol

We have seen in our results, poor results with only 2-4 weeks on diet. So you can't go off and on the diet because 2 weeks on diet is not enough (not saying you're asking to do that, just explaining why that is)

I like you guys to stay very solid on diet till 7 days past ovulation since some evidence indicates that lower glucose levels in your reproductive tract ~may possibly~ help XX fertilized eggs to grow big and strong and implant in your uterus. After that, it's ok to have a couple cheats but don't go hog wild even IF you think you're pregnant, because what happens many times is people assume they'll get pregnant but don't, and then worry that they've undone the good of the diet.

Now since you guys are having a month off after this, it's not so big a deal if you let go after the 7 DPO week but that's what my standard rec's are.

Thanks Atomic, we are taking a 2 month break if we aren’t successful this month. I’ve been keeping up the diet and I am 1 DPO so will keep going.
I am busting for a good hearty lasagna!
